So. Grr at Conan and all those late night shows for only having a few minutes with the people I actually want to see and the whole other 43 minutes with dumb people.

Lisa's dress? Sex.
New layered short hair? Sex.
Lisa revealing that she reads stuff online? OMG sex. Lisa totally needs to read this: If you ever stop wearing low-cut tops on House, I'll quit watching. Okay, no. If you ever leave the show, I'd be seriously considering quitting watching.
Though my boobs are bigger than hers and I do sometimes wonder why everybody (meaning House) is like "OMG, Cuddy cleavage" when she isn't that big. Still, size isn't everything. (Man with no penis, LOL.) And she's totally enough sex to make up for it. Way too much sexy. I would miss her boobs were the show to put them away to make her more Dean of Medicine like. Though I have always thought that the tops are a little too non-Dean like, I understand that the producers and such want us to not forget that she's a woman (like we ever could), though the crying thing from the beginning of the year that was really only to show us that she's still a woman still ticks me off. And the way she dresses isn't inappropriate usually because of the low tops because it's done tastefully.

So. Summarizing again. Lisa = mucho sex. Me still not prepping this presentation = not sex at all. I know why I'm not doing it - because I know that I can make it up on the spot and still do better than most of the people in the class. But I could use a good grade on this as I didn't do well on the quiz we had today in there (she just put "what were the strange things that happened in ch. 1923", and I can't remember things that happen in the chapters when you just give me the chapter name, I need "what were the strange things that happened in the chapter where Hannah was killed?" or some such to actually clue me in to what part we were talking about) and ditto for a couple of ones earlier in the quarter, so I need this to pull me back up to an A.

Was looking for some article Maureen Dowd wrote about the club kids scene (featuring Lisa Edelstein) and I yahoo searched for both of their names and the ad at the bottom said "Collect Lisa Edelstein?" and I giggled because yes, I would love to collect Lisa Edelstein. *is done*

Hee, found the article. Her dad has to say about the club scene: "This won't get her into medical school." LOL. The article's called "Lisa in Wonderland" in the New York Times, November 9, 1986 if anyone wants to see it.

Lisa Edelstein supposedly went to the emergency room for fun as a child.

Hee. Me too. I sat in the car for hours on a drive down to Oklahoma a few years ago with my father to visit my grandmother, but my major motivating factor for going when none of the rest of my family did was because she was going to have surgery and I would have an excuse to hang around the hospital. While we were waiting for her to get out of surgery, I was exploring the hospital and talking to whomever didn't seem to be doing anything and hanging out down by the ER watching the medivac helicopters land and wheel patients in and stuff. /is a dork

I do stuff like that all the time. Like when I was 13 or so and there was a health day or something at the science center, and there was a guy presenting an automatic external defibrillator there, and I got into a discussion with him about the downpoints of the automatic machine after asking if you were able to cardiovert someone in irregular beat patterns besides ventricular fibrillation with it. He gave me a free t-shirt because I was so annoying (and right).

I'm working tomorrow, doing my volleyball refereeing thing. I always get nervous the first time I do it after it's been a while, because I'm like "Is this the right signal? Was that really a lift, or did I just think it looked like one? That other guy did the same thing earlier, did I call him on it?" and such.

Dad helped me come up with an idea for my theatre arts project/essay thing that I really like. So that's good. Got the polio book I'd been looking for that I needed for my history project/essay thing, now I've just got to read it. Still not sure how good the history idea is.
