Some tree limb blew down in our yard, and my brother and I were picking up the resultant stick-y debris this afternoon. I dropped my pile after something got me in the finger, but he thought I had thrown it at him for some reason (I guess because we were on a hill and it rolled down?) and threw his at me. So now I've got several smallish gash bits on my right forearm. Which wouldn't be that big of a problem except I've just noticed that I actually was right in my initial assessment, and they are pretty deep. And it's not like a plain gash, but the skin's actually been dug out there, so I can't even butterfly-plaster it or anything. Plus, I didn't exactly clean them right away (I wanted to leave the blood there to make him feel bad, LOL), and now they're sort of quite red and inflamed in the surrounding area. Plus, I bruised tendon/muscle/whatever underneath, so it hurts like a bitch to bend my wrist down. This is the little injury that could looks like nothing but is actually quite bothersome.
