Anybody else seen those Las Vegas tourism commercials with the "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" slogan? Caught the tail end of the latest one to hit my airwaves--two giggly women stepping covertly into or out of (I wasn't quite sure from across the room, the shot was quick) a swanky hotel bathroom. Together. In a we-just-shagged/we're-about-to-shag kind of way. Umm, hee! I haven't yet heard any uproar about this from the bible belt, people boycotting Vegas, anything, which is surprising to me (and makes me think I may have just thrown my slashgoggles on without realizing it and they weren't really supposed to be having girlsecks). I'm going to have to see if I can find the commercial on youtube or something now (which is hard, because it's still not working on my computer; I have to find one I think might be it from searching and then download the file to watch it, as I can't watch it online because it says I need the flash player, even though I download it every time) because it makes me laugh.

The whole commercial... the two women - a blonde and a brunette - go into the bathroom together. They check their make-up in the mirror and then, without saying a word, pull off their wigs and switch. The blonde becomes a brunette and vice versa. Then they giggle and leave the bathroom together.

I'm not sure if they're trying to fool their dates, doing a little covert partner swapping, or what. But I think I like your interpretation better. ;-D

I guess they're showing it all over, then. I've only ever seen it that once, though, have you seen it often? I love that you knew the exact one I was talking about.

Too bad, ehh? Would almost be enough to make me consider a vacation to Vegas.

Hee, yeah, I've seen it a couple of times. It's been in fairly heavy rotation lately. And I know what you mean! I wish I had seen the end so I could have gotten the slashy possibilities you did! Still, I gotta believe they weren't entirely innocent that night. There was more than one sexual shenanigan going on. ;-D

Yeah, so would I. geonncannon tells me it's not nearly as fun as I had thought. Evidently they just switched wigs. Umm, that's dumb, Mr or Ms Vegas Commercial Planner. My way was tons better.
