One of my old friends that I used to talk to a lot online just had a baby. Yay, Xakana! We haven't talked in a year or so, though, which makes me sad. Don't you hate that? You just sort of quit talking, and it's all *is sad*. I knew she and her husband had been trying for a baby, but I didn't even know she was pregnant until she just posted on VJB that she gave birth last Sunday to a daughter.

Anyway. *Is happy for her.*

My brother bought the Pets thing for Sims 2, so now the computer is even slower. Grr.

I've got a math quiz and a chemistry quiz, the chemistry one over stuff that I was gone both lecture days for and as such I have no idea what we're even doing. And a history project bit due Friday that I really have to find the time to do. And a chemistry lab that evidently was due today that I totally didn't realize we even had to write up. At least my teacher finally coughed up my lab book. She kept claiming that all the books she had were in the folders at the back of the room, and suddenly mine appeared by (though not in) the folders today. Hmm. I wonder. She better not bitch about my lab being late, seeing as how I had to write it all on loose leaf paper and try to keep track of all the info separately because I didn't have the book.

Don't you hate that?

Yep. The same thing happened to a friend of mine in Canada. She got involved in sex and drugs etc. and we just... stopped talking. I think I may have said someting to offend her, because I tend to get overprotective when it comes to people I care about, and she may have taken me the wrong way. But still. The same thing also happened to a pen pal I used to write to when I was younger.

she gave birth last Sunday to a daughter.

Congratulations to her!

My brother bought the Pets thing for Sims 2

My friend downloaded got it, and she reckons it's not that great, so I'm not going to buy it. And yes, it KILLS the computer when my siblings play.

I had to write it all on loose leaf paper and try to keep track of all the info separately

I hate that. I always lose it. My Science teacher lost my notebook for the longest time. It was rather annoying. I ended up using my Maths notebook, because I often have those classes one after the other.

Tis sad. Drugs are bad. Random sex is bad too. Especially when you're young. Because there are diseases. *knows medical stuff like that*

Speaking of diseases, my mini medical school thing tonight? The other conference room next to the one we use had a sign by it saying something about a seminar/class thing on STD something (I think starting with a 'P'. Prophylaxis? Presentation? I don't remember.) I thought it was funny. I sort of wanted to find out what they were going to say in it, out of curiosity. /random

My friend downloaded got it, and she reckons it's not that great, so I'm not going to buy it.

I wouldn't. It's the same price as these other ones like University, where you got a whole new age group of sims and whole new neighborhood type places and loads of stuff, and this is just "Yeah. You can have a dog. Or cat. Or random other animals. And there's some new animal-type stuff that you can buy. And there's something about sims having turn-ons and turn-offs. But that's it." Though there are a lot of dog (and I presume cat, but I've only messed with dogs) kinds, which is cool, and you can change their coat patterns faces and stuff just like regular person sims, which is nice. Still not worth the price. Especially because I managed to find my copy of the Sims 2 at the thrift store, brand new (there were two copies, actually, one of the DVD version and one of regular, but at that point I didn't have a DVD drive on my computer and it was a couple bucks more expensive) for $9, I believe. And then my brother lost the actual playing disk, so a bunch of months later he bought an entire other copy (for like $30) and as usual, a few months after that, we found the first disk from my cheap copy. So now we have two copies of Sims2 hanging around, neither of which we use because you don't need them, evidently, when you have expansions, just the expansion disk. Which is interesting.

But my god. *Computer is dead*

My Science teacher lost my notebook for the longest time. It was rather annoying. I ended up using my Maths notebook, because I often have those classes one after the other.

Grr at dumb losing things teachers. I often have math and science together too. Last year it was Chemstry, Math, this year it's Biology, Math. It's nice in that you only have to get out your calculator once. Except then you put it away to go from class to class, but still. And still excepting when some whore stole mine last week. *Still is really pissed.*

Definitely. You could at least exchange names first.
Jokes.

I think starting with a 'P'. Prophylaxis? Presentation?

Prevention?

I sort of wanted to find out what they were going to say in it

AHAHAHA that reminds me of that Health teacher in Mean Girls, the one who's all
"Don't have sex. If you have sex you will get Chlamydia. And die." and
"If you have sex, you will get pregnant. And die."
*snort* Cracks me up. You, er, kinda have to watch it. *scurries away*

like University

*scurries back* I have University. It came with my Sims 2 when I bought it. I haven't installed it, though. I figured it would slow the computer down waaaay too much. Although I've been told I should, because it's really fun.

sims having turn-ons and turn-offs

*giggles* I like to make the sims WooHoo make out and stuff. I made a House family once, with all the characters. Cameron and Cuddy were together, and all with the making out and having sex. I totally had nothing to do with it, of course [/lying]

I managed to find my copy of the Sims 2 at the thrift store, brand new for $9

Whoa. Mine cost me $60 second-hand. With University included. Brand new it's around $90.

some whore stole mine last week.

LOL. Indeed.

Prevention?

Perhaps. Probably. Because it's just like me to come up with the fancy words like prophylaxis and forget prevention. Which mean almost the same thing anyway, but still.

"Don't have sex. If you have sex you will get Chlamydia. And die." and
"If you have sex, you will get pregnant. And die."

I loved that! Tina Fey is so on my must sex list. I got the movie because Ana Gasteyer was in it (she played Lohan's mother) and she played Elphaba in Wicked when I saw it in Chicago and I wanted to show my dad who she was. She's much better looking green. But yeah, so I watched it and I didn't expect it to be any good and I was surprised because it wasn't that bad. And Tina Fey is hot. And smart, with the writing of the movie and all. And funny, with the writing of SNL and the movie and all. And hot.

It came with my Sims 2 when I bought it.

That's cool. My dumb brother bought ours. But the parents pay for it at the store and he supposedly has to pay them back but I don't think he ever has. It's not so much fair. I pay for everything that I buy and if I can't afford it, I don't buy it. He buys things and knows that our parents will forget they paid for it and not make him pay them back.

Although I've been told I should, because it's really fun.

I would if I were you. Just to check it out. See how much it really does slow down your computer. It is a nice expansion, as far as expansions go. It's not the magic one from Sims 1 or anything which had tons of stuff in it and was actually somewhat close to worth the money, especially when last Thanksgiving (oh, you don't have that, do you? We'll say end of November then) Sims 1 plus all the expansions was only $20 or $25, but Uni is cool. I like it.

Mine cost me $60 second-hand. With University included. Brand new it's around $90.

Ahh, well that's the currency conversion rate that's making it look that impressive. New Sims 2 (back when it came out, it's somewhat less now) is only $50. Expansions are about $30. Which seems really strange to me, that the expansions are more than half the price of the game.

Bitch.

Inbloodydeed. I've got to scrape up a calculator tomorrow, that reminds me, as I've got a test. And Tuesday, as I've got two.

Exactly. You can just say you have a very complex thought system, which is why you will be making bucketloads of money as an expert in the medical field, while they are bumming around at home... wait, what was I talking about again? *scratches head* I got completely sidetracked just then. Um... go me?

Tina Fey is so on my must sex list

I thought that said "Tiny Fey is so on my mum's sex list." *headdesk*
That's waaaaay worse than the Spanish teacher thing! *giggles*

And Tina Fey is hot

I am inclined to agree.

I would if I were you

I did! And I like it! I made myself and I got a degree in Psychology *nods*.

oh, you don't have that, do you? We'll say end of November then

Hee, thanks. Is Thanksgiving a fixed date? Is it the 28th? *crosses fingers*

Exactly. Though sometimes I would like to spend time bumming around at home. I would like to be a selectively working doctor. Like House. I'd show up to work because I had to, but I'd take my laptop into the chapel and read femslash and play computer games between cases.

I thought that said "Tiny Fey is so on my mum's sex list." *headdesk*

Ewww. *giggles* Yeah. No. Creepy. *shakes head to dislodge grossness* LOL.

I made myself and I got a degree in Psychology

Cool. For some reason, the people in the latest family thing that I made all want literature. I don't know why. It's annoying me. And they are against doing political science, which I'm a fan of.

Hey, and I made you too. Okay, that sounds creepy. I didn't really make you, persay, I was just searching for a name and I had just been replying stuff to you, so I was like "Cathryn. Sounds good."

Is Thanksgiving a fixed date? Is it the 28th?

No, I'm pretty sure that it's just the 4th week of November. (I definitely just typed the 4th surgery of November. Okay. That was odd. People in my chem class were talking about research on mice, that must have been why.) 23 November this year.

Story as to why:
It used to be up to the president to issue a proclamation declaring when Thanksgiving would fall, it was just some Thursday in November, but Franklin Delano Roosevelt (pretty kick ass president all around, IMO)'s first Thanksgiving in office (1933) fell on November 30th, the last day of the month, because November had five Thursdays that year. Statistics showed that people didn't do their Christmas shopping until after Thanksgiving so business leaders freaked out, thinking they would lose money, especially during the Depression, because there wouldn't be as many shopping days if Thanksgiving was the last day of November. Business leader guys asked FDR to make Thanksgiving one week earlier. FDR ignored them in 1933 but it looked like it was going to happen again in 1939 (because he was in office for like 50 years) so he moved the date of Thanksgiving up one week.

Yeah. Um, I looked that up for some reason earlier in the month and managed to remember it because I thought it was kind of funny. And FDR was, IMO, America's best president, so knowing stuff about him is cool.

*giggles* Okay. And I suck at making up names, so I mostly steal them from people I know. *Puts Alexandria on list of names*

Flirting with the nurses. . . . ;)
That'd be okay if they were smart patients and you could talk about things that are interesting. Dumb patients high on PCP that only know two phrases "You ain't gonna do that to me" and "(insert string of expletives here)" would tick me off. But I would probably do the same thing.

Oh yes. I'd casually avoid those rooms, or just as casually slip some sedatives into them. Because I'm SUCH a rebel.

I feel special.

Not as special as you'll feel when I tell you you were in my dream last night. Or is that just creepy? *shrugs*
It was fun. You were in my SOSE class with me! I remember because the teacher was bald and my SOSE teacher is bald. And I knew it was you because you had red hair, and I just... knew. Y'know how dreams are. Anyway, the class was seated in pairs and we were next to each other, and it's a bit fuzzy, but I think you were contradicting him and stuff. I was giggling, because it was awesome. And I think I was encouraging you, and also joining you in your argument *giggles*. And then the dream changed and I was at work, and you were still there. Then it just got... odd. It was one of those dreams that go on and on and keep changing and overlapping and stuff. It started out Chase-centric, which is strange.
Anyway, weird/good dream!

Because everybody types surgery instead of November so often.

Haha, of course.

new House episode is on on the 28th

*gasp* It is too! Must remind Rachell to search for the episode tomorrow after school. It won't air until tomorrow morning for me.

NCIS also

Any day now the DVD store is going to call me and tell me my NCIS S1 DVDs are ready to be picked up. I am happy. I only like seasons one and two. You know why *nods*. Kate.

I think you were contradicting him and stuff. I was giggling, because it was awesome. And I think I was encouraging you, and also joining you in your argument *giggles*.

LOL, *dies*! That's so cool. Because I so would do that if he was wrong. My civics/US government class year before last was all about that because the teacher was not very informed about her subject /puts it diplomatically. So my friend Katie and I would take turns telling her that she was wrong and then the teacher would look to the other one of us and we'd nod in support and it was hilarious because we eventually just started making things up. Like "No, that law actually doesn't apply anymore. It got changed by this rider bill on the bit of the Iranian parliamentary charter that we just adopted that allows for purple wigs to be worn in Congress." Though not quite that outrageous.

then the dream changed and I was at work, and you were still there.

Hee, working. Cool. Yay me there to distract you from your work.

It started out Chase-centric, which is strange.

Yeah, a bit, lol. Chase. I'm not so much a fan of him. Jesse Spencer seems to be a bit weird. Like in the House Unplugged thing where he was all "is this already part of the interview? Is this on the record?" like he was worried about it getting reported or whatever when everybody else was just like "Hi! [insert tiny bit of spanish that that actor knows here] What do you want to ask me?"

It won't air until tomorrow morning for me.

Does it actually air on your TV that quickly? I thought that you guys were like months behind or something.

Any day now the DVD store is going to call me and tell me my NCIS S1 DVDs are ready to be picked up.

Whoo! I'm a fan of that season. Yay, Kate. I have a hard time picking which seasons I like better, though, because I like Ziva and Jenny a lot too. Still, Kate rocked. It needs to be Jenny and Ziva and Kate and Abby all in the same timeline. I find that I really enjoy fics where she wasn't killed but the new guys still came. Because yay, Kate/Abby Ziva/Jenny.

Lol, that's a funny/cute mental picture. I might have been doing the same thing in the dream, I don't really remember. I have a feeling it would have been you talking and me sitting there nodding like a maniac.

And lol at the making stuff up. Cheeky.

Yay me there to distract you from your work.

Yay indeed. Though I think my mind was elsewhere anyway. 'Elsewhere' meaning I was seeing how many people I could proposition before the shift was out

I'm not so much a fan of him

It's a love/hate relationship between us. At the moment I think he's okay, because I've been watching S2 episodes in which he is nearly human.

I thought that you guys were like months behind or something

Oh, misunderstandings. My bad. I meant it will be morning for us when the new episode airs for you. Season three hasn't even started for us yet. And it probably won't until Frebruary. Sad. Only I don't care because I have episodes on DVD.

Hee, yay. That'd be so much fun. I've been thinking about stuff like that lately, (Upon rereading, this seems very off topic, but it made sense in my head) because the Costa Rican exchange students are at our school, but the girls are all dumb and just hang out with each other and instant message their families and such. I was like "You know, if I my mom had paid for me to go to a different country to work on whatever foreign language and I spent all my time talking to her and my friends in english, she'd kick my ass for wasting her money." And then I thought about how I totally wouldn't do that, and my example in my head was if I went over and hung out with you, because I'd actually hang out with you and not be all snobby and annoying. For example. Today, one of my friends that's hosting one of them (the worst one for the snobness and talking to friends/family the entire time, I've heard) made lunches for the both of them, you know? And then the exchange student decides she wants to buy her lunch from the cafeteria. Umm, so where's your money? The hoster had to go ask somebody else to buy the lunch on promise of paying them back and ended up missing like half of her lunch because she had to sort that all out. Though the situation was handy for me because I got offered the exchange student's packed lunch that she didn't want, jeeze! *shakes head* /story

'Elsewhere' meaning I was seeing how many people I could proposition before the shift was out

Oh, no way. Seriously? Wicked.

I meant it will be morning for us when the new episode airs for you.

Gotcha. Indeed it will/is/was. <- See Alexandria. See Alexandria conjugate. See Alexandria conjugate 'to be'.

*looks up* Yeah, I don't know what that was. It's 11:50ish in the PM now, if that's any excuse. Not really, though.

No, no, no, no, off-topic is awesome. Where else would the conversation go? We'd be going around in circles! Or, worse, hit a dead end!

the girls are all dumb and just hang out with each other and instant message their families and such.

That's pretty stupid. Aren't they there to experience what it's like to be an American student? I totally wouldn't do that. I mean, sure, if I was from a completely foreign country and didn't know hardly any english I'd probably feel a little out-of place and homesick, and then I'd like to keep in touch with my family, but... not all the time. I'd still love to learn as much as I could about the way things work in that country.

if I went over and hung out with you, because I'd actually hang out with you and not be all snobby and annoying

And then I could Australianize you! ...*snort*
But yeah. I know you wouldn't do that. I reckon you'd be all with the learning and asking questions. And answering questions. And correcting other people's answers. *giggles*
I think it'd be awesome to host an exchange student. Even though I suck with the whole communication thing when it comes to people who know hardly any english or have really really heavy accents.

And then the exchange student decides she wants to buy her lunch from the cafeteria. Umm, so where's your money? The hoster had to go ask somebody else to buy the lunch on promise of paying them back and ended up missing like half of her lunch because she had to sort that all out.

Haha, well, I guess that's an up-side! Not for your friend though. I'd be so pissed off if I was her.

Yeah, serious. I still sort of remember it. It was rather strange. My boss would tell me to do something and I'd see another employee or a customer and be all "Yeah, I'm just going to hit on them now." It was pretty amusing. Luckily the dream ended before I got around to my boss. That would have been more disturbing than amusing. *shudder*

That would be horrible, wouldn't it? I love how we manage to keep convos going for like 4 months. With long pauses in there, but still going. *hugs us*

Aren't they there to experience what it's like to be an American student?

That's what I thought.

I'd still love to learn as much as I could about the way things work in that country.

Exactly. I know I'd be freaked and spend time talking to my family, because me and change don't get along at all, but it would suck to spend all your time there. I'd at least do everything that they arranged for me to do and try to hang out and learn stuff. Like english.

And then I could Australianize you! ...*snort* But yeah. I know you wouldn't do that. I reckon you'd be all with the learning and asking questions. And answering questions. And correcting other people's answers.

Exactly. Totally would. Twould be great. I wouldn't be able to throw off the accent for weeks after I got back. Because I'm like that. It'd be an American accented accent, if that makes sense, but it'd be stuck in my head forever.

Even though I suck with the whole communication thing when it comes to people who know hardly any english or have really really heavy accents.

I'm always so afraid that I'll unconsciously start imitating their accent (because, again, something that I do) but, you know, it won't be good, so they'd either laugh because it sucked or think I was either making fun of them. Which would be sad. I don't usually have a problem understanding them, though. Unless it's over the phone. Because the phone garbles things.

My boss would tell me to do something and I'd see another employee or a customer and be all "Yeah, I'm just going to hit on them now." It was pretty amusing.

Yeah, I just like knowing that I can do the HTML for hyperlink-things and stuff.

*hugs us*

*giggles* interesting mental picture. *hugs us also* Four-way hugging! It's like a mini-cluster of Alexandrias and Cathryns.

I'd be freaked and spend time talking to my family, because me and change don't get along at all

Same here. I just realised that I was misleading in my previous comment, when I said I'd only talk to them when I'm homesick. I'd actually keep in touch regularly. How could you not? I meant I wouldn't spend every spare moment talking to them. Plenty of opportunities to do that here.

[another off-topic thing (I'm full of those right now): I'm writing another Cameron/Cuddy fic! And I think I'll look in my file to see what other ones I don't want to burn and sendsendsend them to my Beta, a.k.a., you]

I wouldn't be able to throw off the accent for weeks after I got back

Hee, that'd sound so weird. People sound so different with different accents. Like, their voice changes. My Religion and Study teacher likes to tell us stories about his travels to America all the time (most of which consists of him impersonating you guys) and his voice sounds so different with an American accent.

[off-topic thing that made me go "OMFG LET ME HURT THESE PEOPLE": My sister just told us that some boys in her class said they want to have sex with her! SHE'S FUCKING EIGHT YEARS OLD. Ohhh, man, I'm not happy.]

they'd either laugh because it sucked or think I was either making fun of them

That scares me too. I think I've actually done it once or twice, too.

Because the phone garbles things.

The phone garbles my head.

Hey, I totally don't, so go you. When it gets more complicated than lj-cut or making some journal name be all linky or bold/italic/underline/strike, I do it in my LJ client thing and copy it over. I could learn, but it's just as quick to do it my way.

Four-way hugging! It's like a mini-cluster of Alexandrias and Cathryns.

An interesting mental picture indeed, lol.

Ohh, that's great. Is he passible at it? It's sorta not fair, though, because everybody elsewhere can impersonate an American accent much much better than we can do yours, because you guys get American TV shows all the time. I get the occasional BBC show on the public broadcast network, but that's it. Makes me sad, because I know I could get mine for various places really good if I had the exposure because I pick them up so quickly.

My sister just told us that some boys in her class said they want to have sex with her! SHE'S FUCKING EIGHT YEARS OLD.

Umm, no. Not even cool at all. What the hell? I was pissed when some kid in my sister's class was making fun of her when she got glasses, I can't imagine what I'd do if that happened. I'd kinda want to go kick their asses also. That's disgusting. It all comes back to the parents, too. What the hell have they been doing/saying/allowing their kids to watch on TV that puts things like that in the children's heads? It's sick.

The phone garbles my head.

Yeah, el mío también.

But that's it."

Hey, I love it! But then, pets are important to me. The turn on/offs is from Nightlife, which I wouldn't have bought, but a friend got it for me, so it's all good. It turned out to be more fun than I thought it would be. Heh, I used to be a major Sims addict, can you tell?

I do enjoy it. I don't know if I myself would have bought it (as I'm very stingy with money), but my biggest and main problem with it is the fact that the expansions make the game run really slowly. I completely quit playing it for months at a time because it just took too much time to load and such. But just today I found out what was really causing the slowness--my brother has literally 3 gb of extra content downloaded from the Sims2 website, and the game tries to scan through it all every time you open a menu or something, which makes it really slow--so if I take some of that off (hopefully he won't notice) it should go more quickly.

Is Nightlife any good? My brother really wants that one, but I hadn't heard that there was anything really big in it. Because the turn on/turn off does also come with Pets or University (I don't remember which one, but I know we've got it, so it must be from one or both), and I seem to think that there's something about being able to have cars, but that's all I can come up with.

I used to be a major Sims addict, can you tell?

Just a bit! ;D

I find it takes longer to load the game, but in game play is only a little longer. Although that's largely because we bought a bigger video card just because of upgrading the Sims 2. The new video card is awesome, though, it lets us watch the computer on the TV, which is helpful since we don't have cable anymore, so we d/l eps of anime from Japan to watch.

Yeah, that'll do it alright! I have some extra stuff, but it doesn't slow me down, I dunno why. Maybe because it's only a few little things like makeup, eye color, hair styles and simple clothes without many new meshes. I think objects may take up more memory.

Ahh, THAT'S where the cars came from! Yes, the cars are worth the expansion. You don't miss work or school anymore that way (although you can get in trouble for being late, it's not as bad as missing a whole day). And you can become a vampire, which I find fun--although make damn sure they go to their coffin by 6:59 in the morning! They start dying in the sun pretty fast. And University was before Nightlife and didn't have the turn on/turn off thing. I didn't really want it, but it was still cool to have. I haven't really used it much, but I may if I ever get time to just sit and play for more than ten minutes at a time again.

Anyhoo, glad to see you again!

Been going through my inbox, realized I forgot to reply to this. I manage to lose things in my inbox all the time, tis sad.

Maybe because it's only a few little things like makeup, eye color, hair styles and simple clothes without many new meshes. I think objects may take up more memory.

Oh yeah. Those add up pretty quickly, but the biggest stuff are the crazy complex houses with water gardens and/or shaped like Klingon Birds-of-Prey. Looking at the individual files, it's hard to see how it's that big, but somehow his Sims 2 folder in the my documents spot is more than 3gb. Most of it is not in the downloads place, though, so the majority is other stuff, though I'm not sure what.

You don't miss work or school anymore that way (although you can get in trouble for being late, it's not as bad as missing a whole day).

Oh, that's good. I've run into some annoying glitches about the busses/carpool stuff and the vehicle getting frozen or stuck right there behind a passed out person on the street or accidently deleted or something that ended up with the people never being able to go to work/school again, so if only to avoid that glitch, it's cool. I'm glad they added the still getting in trouble thing, though. Realism is fun.

And you can become a vampire, which I find fun--although make damn sure they go to their coffin by 6:59 in the morning! They start dying in the sun pretty fast.

Ooh. It's not just "Oh, I'm tired, so I'll pass out on the street", but they actually die? Neat. I'm gonna have to pass that on to my brother. He'll undoubtedly start saving money faster. I've realized that when it comes to sims, I should just let him buy all of them and then I'll just use them. Because he's done it with other things my entire life (usually uses them and ruins it too), I should get some payback. ;D

And University was before Nightlife and didn't have the turn on/turn off thing.

Must have been also with Pets, then, because I know I've got it.

I haven't really used it much, but I may if I ever get time to just sit and play for more than ten minutes at a time again.

I know what you mean. I go for months and months without touching it, mainly because it took so much time to load up that once you got your family opened, you were out of time to actually play. Now that I've figured out a way to bypass all of my brother's junk that slows it down, it's not as bad, but stuff is still nuts that it makes it rare that I'm on the computer to do more than check my mail and do a quick lj update.

I'm sorry, babe. I stopped seeing you on messenger and well, I kinda fell off the face of the earth on it since Lilly was born. I found this by change googling my s/n (I like to see that it's still just mine from time to time, lol). Thank you, of course.

Hey, I have Sims 2 Pets, I love it! I can't wait for seasons, although I almost never get to play anymore. I have to kinda manage my time like an allowance, since the baby takes about 4 hours per 24 eating and since it's 24/7, I 'sleep' (meaning I'm in bed) about 10-12 a day. But I try to catch my friends on myspace and LJ now, so if you'd like to friend me, you can always read my rants, lol.

Hey! You totally don't know how excited I was to see your name in my email.

Yeah, I think we weren't signing on at the same time anymore, and after only a little while, my IM client started screwing up with my computer, and so it was easier to just delete it than try to mess things around. It seemed that every time I logged on, nobody was online, so I didn't really miss it (though I missed talking to everybody).

I found this by chance googling my s/n (I like to see that it's still just mine from time to time, lol).

Hee. I do that from time to time. (I know what you mean about making sure it's still yours. I was flabbergasted when I found out that somebody had this s/n on ebay.)

if you'd like to friend me, you can always read my rants, lol.

Oh, absolutely. Ranting's pretty much all I ever do anyway.

since Lilly was born

Congratulations! And you named her Lilly! My cat's name is Lilly. She's the closest I have to a child of my own, teehee.

Well, her nickname is Lilly--her full name is Lillyanna. And I had a kitten named Lily once! It's such a great name ^_^ I know what you mean about kitty as a child of one's own. I have a small menagerie of furkids and fids (feathered kids). Thank you!
