Was at Best Buy at 9:30 or so with my dad to return this power cord thing for his laptop (we finally think we figured out the problem, yay for that) and there was a little boy in the car next to us. Adorably cute. No more than 4 years old. Alone. In the car. God knows for how long. At least for the entire 10 or 15 minutes we were in there. I noticed him right when I got out of the car and told the manager in the store, but they were like "Yeah, there's nothing we can do." I wanted to stay and wait by the car for the parents or whomever to come out, to chew them freaking out make sure that he would be okay, but we had to leave and the store people said they'd watch.
I think I'm going to call in to the Town Talk thing in the newspaper, where people call and bitch and the newspaper prints it, and be like "To the parents of the little boy left in the car on Saturday at the Best Buy- do you do that in the summer too?"
Because, god, he was little. And really adorable. Smiling at me, and. . . those people make me so mad. He's a gorgeous little boy. Missouri's been all up with the crazy little kid kidnappers lately. What if he were to accidentally unlock the car? Anybody could get in, steal the car, steal him, whatever.
Stupid parents. They shouldn't be allowed to have kids. I'm not adverse to a practical parenting test before allowing children to be born. You're just sterile until you prove that you won't bash your kids' heads in or leave them in cars. You apply for a permit to have a child. Would solve some stuff.

Date: 2006-10-08 02:38 pm (UTC)Right that doesn't make sense but whatever. I am angry at that. I hate it when people do that to their dogs, too. Especially in summer, when the poor doggies are stinking hot with their fur and all.

It did make sense. T'was good.

Yup. Fried puppy is bad.

Fried puppy is bad.
Indeed.
