Signing up for this mini-med school thing at Wash.U. Because I'd been looking at the website, waiting to be old enough to do it for more than 5 years now, and I was finally old enough last year, but missed the deadline (as they publish the new dates for the sessions only 4 weeks before they start).

It's Tuesday nights, though. I'm going to miss my House. (Which can be taped/downloaded, so that's okay.) But NCIS and SVU are (at least right now) on at the same time, and I can't tape both of them, so that makes me sad.

Did you know that there was a Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre group in St. Louis? They're Shakespeare people. I think I'm going to use them for my theatre thing. Though I liked my made up Princeton-Plainsboro Theatre House thing, it turns out we've got to have a real one.

This = sad.

On September 8, the Ugandan newspaper Red Pepper published a list of 13 women they claim are lesbians. Homosexuality is a criminal offence in Uganda, and Amnesty International believes that making such allegations against these women may put them in danger. The article called for people to name other women suspected of being lesbians in order to ''rid our motherland of the deadly vice.''

So everybody that is cool like that, go do this email letter thing with Amnesty International here and tell all these Ambassadors/President people that this is crap.

I do know about the magic smoking monkey theatre. I hear it's more confusing than it sounds. Like, they do shakespear at the same theatre with the samepeople usually, but shakespear isn't "magic smoking monkey" because magic smkoing monkey is like, doing the matrix in twenty minutes and stuff like that.

I'm not sure, but I was talking to the director or something one time, and I think that's what I got out of it.

But I've seen a few shakespears there. I think Hamlet and twelfth night. Possibly one or two others, but those are the ones that stuck in my memory.

And that lesbian thing sounds like a witch hunt to me. They'll be all "Don't think that just because they're married to a man that tehy're not lesbian!" and then "Do you deny it?" "Yes" "Then you must be a lesbian! Why would you tell us the truth if you were? SHE WILL BURN!!"

(I totally started replying to this last night, but then my dad comes upstairs and starts yelling at me for walking around upstairs while he was trying to sleep below. But it wasn't me, as I hadn't left the chair for like 3 hours. Grr. That's my story.)

doing the matrix in twenty minutes and stuff like that.

But they do do Shakespeare, do they not? Is it still whole versions, or 20 minute Shakespeare?

And that lesbian thing sounds like a witch hunt to me.

Indeed.
