commotiocordisIf anyone has any ideas for my History of the Americas research paper thingie, I am most definitely floundering for a topic. I've got virtually free reign over what to write about, but it's got to be obviously historical and I have to have enough resources to be able to write about it, but it can't be something so broad or common that lots of other people would write about it.
History isn't really my thing. I liked it last year because I had a really good teacher, but I really don't know anything about possible research paper topics because when I wrote papers for other history classes, it was always "The Civil War's Contribution to Modern Medicine" and things of that sort. I'd really like to be able to write something like that, but the restrictions are tight as to how you have to format this thing (it's not your standard research paper) and that looks like it's going to make things difficult.
So, to sum up, any ideas about specific topics to write a History of the Americas research paperthing on that have a real and obvious connection to history would be really appreciated.
