Of the tests over the 3 books that we were supposed to read this summer for english, I got the best marks (perfect on both) on the two over the book that I didn't read.

Welcome to the universe.

The blurb on the back of the DVD box for SG-1 season 3 episode 4 ("Legacy") lies. Like majorly. (Though I suppose it does that quite often. Do the people that write the blurbs actually watch the episode?)

It says "A mysterious tablet discovered on a distant planet infects anyone who touches it with a hallucinogen. The remarkable stone infects Teal'c and, before long, the entire team except Hammond. Can Hammond stop it and save SG-1 alone?"

*Is indignant.* Hammond did not do a single gosh darn thing.

Janet saved freaking everyone, even when she was all distracted by being infected by the blue bug things (and taking off her shirt). And Sam was able to carry out Janet's plan, even when she was all distracted by Janet taking off her shirt. So I'm thinking Janet is number one and Sam number two in the saving the team thing, and Hammond doesn't even rank.

/indignancy.

I'm on season 3 now, so I don't have to wait for the disks to come into the library anymore. At least not for however long it takes me to finish seasons 3 and 4. Yay for that.

I've never noticed that! *shocked* Oh, well. We all know Janet saved the day. Even if they did make Sam a little dense to do it ("Quick... freeze?"), it was to make Janet the hero. So I'm ooooookay with it. ;-D

I still love...

JANET: "No! You're a Goa'uld!"
SAM: "No. It's me. Sam. I'm your friend."
JANET: *calms*

When I read that it was a hallucinogenic infection, the first thing I thought was that this was going to be a Janet episode. So the Hammond thing kinda confused me.

Even if they did make Sam a little dense to do it

That's true. Even if you didn't know what the quick part meant, just the word 'freeze' would send me running towards the freezer.

JANET: "No! You're a Goa'uld!"
SAM: "No. It's me. Sam. I'm your friend."
JANET: *calms*

Oh yes. The first thing in my head was "She had to say 'friend' because there were people watching."
And the second thing went back to when Jack mentioned that when Daniel was "all over" him when he was being all crazy like and I mentally deviousfemslasher-giggled thinking "I hope Janet gets all over Sam." *is a dork*

Oh! So it was your first time seeing it? Kudos! I love that episode. And Janet ripping her shirt off. ;-D

*nods* But, like I said, forgivably so.

Heee! :D You KNOW she did. Or would have, if all those darn people weren't watching... ;-D

So it was your first time seeing it?

Yeah. I've seen a few episodes here and there, mostly ones that you recommended as yay!Janet episodes while I waited for disk two of season 1 to come in to the library so I could continue watching them in order, but since I bought seasons one, three, and four, I'm going straight through.

I love that episode. And Janet ripping her shirt off.

It was a very good episode. And that was probably the best part.

Or would have, if all those darn people weren't watching...

If only there was no observation room. The writers should have made it crazy libido bugs instead of crazy hallucination bugs. Those would have been more fun.
