commotiocordisSo I got my $100 gift card thing from the bank for signing up for a Visa today. Yay for that. I didn't know they had these, it's like a debit card with a prepaid account attached or something. So you can use it anywhere. Pretty cool.
The Visa is just a Visa, though. It does have a pretty good rate though. Same as what my parents are getting, and my parents have amazing credit.
Everybody's power is still out.

saturn_hime, I totally just got an email from her saying hers was up. Yay for that.
The brownout things that were happening to me have stopped. Which is good.
I was planning to go to some library Jeopardy contest thing tonight, but they only had like 10 spots, and nobody else could come after that. I figure, with only 10 people there, it wasn't that much fun. I'm still kinda disappointed that I couldn't go. Anne was going to give me my birthday present then too, so I don't have that either.
Ewwgross. My dog barked at the door to come back in, and I opened the door, and right when he was about to come in a huge bug (I'm not kidding, like the size of 4 AA batteries) falls from the sky and hits him on the butt on the way down. He turns around all surprised like, looks at me, and then picks the bug up in his mouth and runs off. Kinda weird, like he ran because he thought I would try to take it from him or something. Sorry, boy, partially chewed insect is not my thing.
