commotiocordis: (Seven/B'Elanna)
In celebration of my finding my tablet stylus while doing laundry (which I shall never besmirch again--I was moping over the prospect of shelling out $40 for a new one, but turns out the black stylus had somehow fallen to the bottom of the giant box I separated dark clothing into), I went all potatochop!happy.

The base picture for this was sort of unfortunately both black & white and already grained, hence the quality of the finished picture, but I downloaded it from some free stock photo site for this very purpose . . . *looks up* three years ago because the idea just hit me immediately upon seeing it. A couple of hours and components from five or six photos later, and I've subtly femslashed that baby (literally!) up. I was thinking about putting some sort of frame around it so it looked like a picture the girls would have on the mantel, but I didn't have anything that seemed to fit on the tablet (and its internet isn't working, so I couldn't try to find one)--may happen at some point, but for now:

Titling this seems stupid, but for organizational purposes: Seven and Daughter )

O AND BECAUSE I was planning to finish this ages ago and then somehow got it in my head that International Day of Femslash was the 19th (prolly because that's what it was in 2008) and so never posted anything drawing attention to it:

I HAS A MOVING ICON. IT IS GAY.

It's going to stay default for this week, I think, as it's also a rather fitting birthday icon because, you know, femslashyay. Afterward, methinks I'll (if I scrounge up the time) change it up to get rid of the IDoF reference and just make it general femslashyay. Because this took way too frakking long to be a one-week icon, LOL. I ended up duplicating a couple of fandoms, which was trying to avoid; I might try and not do when I change it, but it all comes down to finding the images you can successfully crop to 100x42 and get them to still come out recognizable.

And, by popular request:

House/Wilson, end of "Humpty Dumpty", line from the song playing in the background of the scene.

Picture now.  Family is camping, I hate camping, therefore I'm here alone.  Been online for seven and a half hours so far, doing random stuff.  I think that's a record for me.  I get to make my slashy pictures without little siblings looking over my shoulder asking "Why are you putting two women in compromising positions?"  Actually, neither of my siblings would say that.  Tyler would go "Eww."  And Kacy would ask if she could try to make one now.  Manip, Cuddy/Cameron.  Notice how the light on the right side of Cuddy's face matches the light coming through the window behind them (that whiter part).  Spent special time on that bit.  Enoy.
