Henna and ER fic musings.

commotiocordisSo yay with the hair dying. I'm sitting here looking like a cross between a bug and an alien because the shower cap that I bought to cover my head with the henna on it doesn't fit. Even with 5 inches less hair than I used to have. So I've got the cap covering most of it, and then plastic wrap around my head tied on with christmas ribbon. And I used too many cloves, so now it's starting to burn!
This package, though, said to add vinegar to make it red. I've never done that before, and thus didn't want to try it for fear that a) it would kill my hair, and b) I would smell like vinegar forever.
I'm thinking about trying to write an ER fic. This on top of the HP fic I was playing with last night and the many others I've started and never written more than a paragraph or so. But the ER one seems to play out in my head as a long one, and I'm not good with those. And I've never written ER and have no idea how to characterize/write anyone on the show. It's not as easy as writing T'Pol and Hoshi or B'Elanna and Seven or even Cuddy and Cameron because they (the two I'm focusing on being Abby and Neela) don't have obvious personality extremes.
