I finished it. I am so unbelievably happy. The Gelphie story I started in September-ish? It's done. It is in the same AU as my Wedding one, and I really like that universe. It is the prequel to Wedding, explaining how they ended up ruling together. Except for it doesn't explain so much as throw out some stuff and let you put it together. It could be a part one of the prequel, but to write a good and accurate part two I'd need to see the musical again and it doesn't come back to STL until 2007. So I've decided that it more or less works okay by itself.

I wrote almost a page beyond what I had typed yesterday, and that was about half a page longer than what I had written out.

I like this story. It has angst, it has hurt/comfort, and, most importantly and lacking from most of my other works, it has a little bit of plot. And it's pretty long for me. Shorter than what I've got so far of the Cameron/Cuddy one and the T'Pol/Hoshi one, but still the longest of my completed works.
