So. Yesterday was fun.
Final endodontist appointment, yay for that. Not yay that this guy still sucks at administering anesthetic in that it hurts going in, he always spills it in my mouth (like from the needle not being actually in my cheek when he pushes the plunger, thus leading us to my next point), and it never seems to work that well.
Supposedly, he got out the drill. Which is goodness. I'm kinda wondering where it went, as he was flipping things around trying to get it out and I never saw it fly nor saw him pull it out, so I'm wagering that I'm going to find it in my hair/ear/eye/someplace sometime in the next week or so.
I've got to make an appointment to go back to the original lady to get the crown put on. Plus then to be fixing the rest of my teeth, though I'm not excited about that at all. I've got two on uppery type teeth, which is kinda scary because you just know that you're going to have to be practically upside down for them to drill up there.
But yes. And then I went home (which, at 30 minutes, was far longer of a drive than I have patience for) and thought I'd get in a quick nap before going to exercise at 9 or so (so I could watch the new ER episode). But no. Was in bed, but then got yelled at to do the dishes, which I did, and, upon going back to bed, just sort of passed out. I use that phrase instead of sleep because it was weirdly long, as we're talking 12 hours on a relatively full night of sleep the night before. And because I woke up this morning feeling just as tired as I was last night, which suggests not productive sleep.
Plus, I was too lazy to breathe. Which is odd to hear. But it was like breathing was taking too much effort when I woke up (not because of any kind of stuffed up chest or anything; simply moving the diaphragmic muscle was too much work), so I was only doing it sorta shallowly when I had to, which kept me from really coming fully awake for a while as I was all noair!hazed.
So. That actually scared me a bit, once I was able to put it into words, because that plus the weird sleeping sound like something bad. I'm blaming it on dentistry.
But basically, that all comes out to equal me not finishing the library book that was due yesterday (the new Kathy Reichs one) and thus mum having to take it back this morning before they open with me not having found out the ending, nor having done ni Spanish ni biology homework. Plus, me being quite sleepy for no apparent reason. Gah. Teeth, I hates you when you misbehave. Please to be stopping.

Date: 2008-01-04 02:44 pm (UTC)Good luck with the dentist. I did not like my appointment but I'm glad to have it overwith. And yeah, mine were on top too, might as well just stand on your damn head,

Date: 2008-01-04 04:32 pm (UTC)I'm up in the air with her books. I like TV murder shows, but with books, it comes down to the quality of the writing and story and such. I'd prefer if Reichs just wrote memoirs, you know, stuff that she's done than make up the Tempe books--because you know it's probably a lot of the same coolness, but it makes it infinitely cooler if it came from a non-fiction book.

Oh god. I do not do well lying back with people around me. It's a trust issue, you know? A really base one too, as it's got to do with baring your neck, just like dogs and such are wont to try to avoid. This is not going to be fun.
