This girl in my class right now?  She's being uber combative about how the teacher didn't pass back one of our assignments.  All "I passed it in with them.  *looks to girl next to her*  You know I did it, I was here!"  Etc.  It's annoying.  Because guess what.  You're just sounding guilty, chickyface.

I tried to do that at times. But then I just ended up saying "...no, I didn't hand it in."

Yeah, I do it too. But I like to think I'm a little bit better of an actor than that. If you make it sound like it's probably your fault, they won't realize that you're trying to make it their fault.

I usually just use it as a way to get more time to finish whatever. All "I'll look for it if you will" kind of thing, and then you finish find it and take the blame, but usually you can get away with handing it in late then because of the confusion.

I just checked, and invites should be going to my email, but I haven't got anything. I've been watching for a few days, but to no avail. Could it somehow not have gotten sent? I can't find anything on LJ telling me I've been invited.
