I've decided that AP Bio's workbook pages are exactly like AP Psych's notecards. The process is easy, yet time consuming and tedious, and even though you know you shouldn't, you leave it until the last minute and end up being up all hours of the night trying to finish them.

Edit: And now I'm supposed to fit words like 'endoplasmic' and microfilaments' into blanks about 1cm long. Yeah. Nope.

*headdesk*

I've got to perform this scene from The Cherry Orchard, and as I wasn't there Mon and my partner's not going to be there Wednesday, we've got to do it today, with no practicing at all. Grr. Going to suck. But at least I have my ester lab right after to look forward to. That looks to be a fun one, as we get to combine acids and alcohols to make really pretty smelling stuff, and then we're making soap.

Still. Must finish bio. And then math. And then Spanish. When I don't feel all that well over a weekend, even if I stay home Monday, I don't get anything done.

Though to be perfectly honest, I'm rather tired of waking up in the morning feeling that I'd like to just go back to sleep and not wake up.

Minimed thing very cool. It wasn't as basic as I had feared; though I could have handled more depth, it was a good, casual level.

The first guy, talking about low back pain, managed to make a topic I had absolutely no interest in keep my attention. He was really good.

The second lady, with sleep and sleep disturbances and such, wasn't quite as engaging (the other guy was funny and very conversational, she was more lecture, which is fine for me but I know others wouldn't have enjoyed it as much) but she had good material and video examples (catoplexy is funny on video). And she looked and sounded a lot like Jorja Fox. Which was interesting.

And they gave us cookies. Yay, oatmeal raisin. I haven't had oatmeal raisin cookies in a really long time.

We signed up for these supplemental things, tours and such (of the medical library, of the medical school, and one thing about the physical presentations of Alzheimer's that's taking place in the autopsy lab that I really want to do, but the sign up sheet won't be there until next week for that one, and only 20 people get to go), but the ones of the genome sequencing center (which contributed like 25% of the genome sequencing project) are all during the day. I think I'm going to have to skive off school, because I'd really like to see that.

I had quite a very few House moments, which was entertaining. Quotes popping up in my head, what House would say to this guy who seemed to think the question and answer session was his personal consultation time *shakes fist*, things like that.

And in aforementioned Q&A, I knew the answers to lots of the questions, which made me feel smart.

*goes to download House* Downloads not up yet. Grr.

Ahh! There's some freaky "congor" website that popped up, and it won't close, and now my computer's trying to update windows randomly. Bad. *control-alt-delete* Is fixed. But still worrying.

Edit: Computer is working very slowly and now freezing a lot. *very worried*

My dad's school was supposed to pay for our DSL so that the teachers could use this grade system or something, but we just found out that they just canceled the doing that because nobody likes the program thing (though my district is making all the teachers use it this year) and the district has no money, and so we're not going to have fast internet any more. *is very sad*
