Mar. 21st, 2006 02:25 amThe wikipedia article about Jadzia Dax mentions that there were earlier hints in the series that Dax was bisexual before the episode with Lenara Kahn. Blatant hints beyond my normal subtext-dar? I missed these. Though I've seen barely any of DS9.
Now I'm just going through the category of Fictional LGBT Characters. I'm on Star Trek.
In a 1990 episode about love, "The Offspring", Data becomes a father and the other crew-members seek to explain to the daughter the facts of life. In one scene Guinan was successfully able to change her own dialogue from "when a man loves a woman" to "when two people are in love". Yay for Whoopi.
I hate the south. Evidently some TV stations in the southern US edited out the Jadzia/Lenara kiss in "Rejoined". They suck.
