So. Found out Antigone Rising is a real band, not just one [livejournal.com profile] jew_witch made up for her Abby/Neela story. Then spent a long time reading all the lyrics to the songs. I want those CDs. It seems like a lot of the songs are on practically all the CDs. "Choke" I think is on the most with 3 times, tied with "She Lived Here".
I'm going to have to find where I can download those. I'm 60% through the Cheno thing I was downloading yesterday, so yay for that.

[15ish minutes later]
And... oh, son of a bitch.
It stopped at 63%. Probably because I turned off the AT&T Internet Accelerator. Downloads get pissy when I open and close things.

And... we're at 1%.

And it's (Cheno interview download) only now back up to 60%. Going even slower this time because I've been loading big pages of icons from other people's 100 icon thingies.

I feel like a bitch because I told somebody that wanted my wickedbook icon no. But I didn't want to share and I've really got to start learning how to say no. So I was proud of myself that I did it (because I had the yes answer all typed up before I went, no, I really don't want to do this) but still feel like a skank.

So I missed the first half of Bones tonight.  Was sleeping.  Because I've had this headache for 5 days now.  Since I was sick on Saturday, and it hasn't gone away.  So I stayed home today.  But it was one of those days where you get out early for teacher meetings, so I didn't miss much.  The thing is, I think when I have to make it up, they'll make me make up a whole hour per class, not the half hour that they actually were today.  And I had this breakfast thing instead of the first two classes for winning some award (there are a bunch of them, so many that something like 80% of the student body gets one each time) and there was free food.  So my day's kinda sucked.
Not to mention that I have to learn vectors.  The kind with the math and all.  What about vectors do you need to know, you may ask.  Erm, everything.  We kinda had a quiz today.  That I obviously missed.  So that was the one perk of me staying home.
Friend of mine from math class left yesterday for California.  To be on Judge Judy.  Fun.  She's a witness in a case about a broken violin.  Turns out last year (when I was still in the crap orchestra) during one of the rehersals (or the actual show, not sure) for the Masterworks Concert (where the orchestra and choir do their thing together) some chick ran into Josh's violin.  And broke it.  And wouldn't pay.  So Josh's lawyer sent it in, and the Judge Judy people were like, sounds good, so they got flown down there and put up in a hotel, and given money to be on the show.

There's an interview with Robert Beltran on the Star Trek website.

God, I hate him. He's pretentious and obnoxious. People that ask questions want a straight answer, not this sarcastic crap he spouted forth.
