I haven't, but I'm thinking it's probably not necessary. It was a short "Huh, I'm looking rather jaundiced," thing but it's gone down to my normal skin tone, more or less, since. I do need to probably get a hepatic function panel done, as I seem to remember that I was supposed to get it done at one point, but the lab I went to couldn't do it or something and I never actually got one. Plus, a couple of other readings last time I got blood drawn were rather iffy, and that was more than a year ago, so I'm going to wait a few months so it's not "Look, Alexandria's back at the doctor for the second week in a row," and get her to check me out for that kind of thing.
You know, come to think of it, I think the time when I was all yellowlike was towards the end of the week in which my sunlamp thing wasn't plugged in at all. Which makes some sense, actually, then. Huh. I kinda want to unplug it again for a week and see if it repeats itself. *is too much of a scientist*
It'd be funny if it's just the color changing from tiredness thing.
It really would be.
As for House--half the time, I want to kick him, the other half, I'm laughing at him.
Yeah. This season and bits of the end of the last, I've been more towards the kicking, because he went from snarky and funny to plain mean, even to his friends, which made me angry. But they're obviously trying to bring him back towards where he used to be with more normal episodes (I think because they were losing viewers as people started to go beyond being pleasantly annoyed by House and into just plain disgusted by his character), which I prefer.
I've been tested for porphyria in the past (which was inconclusive... gee, thanks)
Urgh. That's horrible. So you don't know if there's a specific cause for your gallstones?
