Laptop still dumb. It went from thinking the battery was empty to thinking that it was completely charged in 10 seconds. Literally. And the plug charger thing still rarely works. So the computer's rebooting every 4 minutes because it runs out of battery (such as it is) and then it takes me 15 minutes of fiddling around with the cord to get it to charge for a few seconds, fiddle around some more to get it to charge longer, it finally thinks that it's charged, and then I get 4 more minutes before the cycle repeats.

Power still out. Couple of false alarms, like when the power people from Kansas City were around the neighborhood yesterday morning (the entire rest of the neighborhood got their power fixed yesterday, but not our street) and the North Carolina people drove really slowly down my street right when I was leaving for the library (I turned around and came back to see if they needed me to let them around the back or something and spent the entire 40 feet back to my house, though they couldn't hear me, directing the truck: "Okay, stop here. No, stop now. Don't keep going. That's bad. No, it's not around the corner. It's right here. *points* Oh, you're backing up. Good. Turning around, also good." And then I got to my house and went in and put my bag down and turned around and looked out the window and I couldn't see them anymore, which means they left, which makes me sad) but no substantive fixing.

Got history paper thingie due Friday that I've only got one of the two sources for and theatre paper due next week that I don't even really have a topic for, so I'm really hoping it comes on tonight.

And we're going to be one of the last people to get power, it looks like. I did impromptu surveys in all of my classes, and in most of them I was the only one without power still. Only 4 other people still didn't, actually. And one of them had heat still and all the others were staying somewhere else.

Battery just dropped from 100% to 50%, just like that. I hate how it does that. Just drops. You've got no warning that it's getting close to dying, no continuous updates, just the one big drop. Grr.

Guy that looks like Anthony Rapp just walked by me in the library. Redder hair than Rapp's, but still.
