Just watched the Order of the Phoenix trailer.

Harry's new haircut looks horrible.

But I'm pretty excited because of all the promise of Snarry in the occlumancy lessons scenes and the fact that there's a split-second shot of some girl casting a spell really bigly (you know, arms up and all dramatic) that I'm pretty sure is supposed to be Bellatrix and she is crazy hot. (Oh, I forgot that it was going to be Helena Bonham Carter. I've never thought she was that good looking, but they've made her up well for that scene. Jeeze, her, Emma Thompson as Trelawney, Kenneth Branagh as Lockhart in the second movie, they've got the entire love triangle in the Harry Potter movies.)

Luna is cute, though not what I expected her to look like.

Check out the first two character names in this lineup shot. Slightly Creepy Boy and Somewhat Doubtful Boy. I want to be cast in a movie as Slightly Creepy Boy. That's so cool. I mean, of course it would be cooler if you were Bellatrix or something, but Slightly Creepy Boy is awesome.

The Umbridge looks too nice. It needed to be the woman from Blackadder, Patsy Byrne. She's got the high nasty voice and everything. I can't see the lady they've got forcing Harry to write with a quill that cuts the words into his own hand at all, at least not from the pictures they've got up.

From the picture of the scene where Umbridge is kicking out Trelawney, I can already say that that isn't staged like I would do it. I don't think it's even set in the right place; wasn't the scene actually in the great hall?

Anyway. Yay for Harry Potter. Yay for me still not doing my paper.

That's meant to be Umbridge?! She's far less toad-like than I imagined. I imagined her really short and plump, with a big wide flabby face and big wide lip-less mouth. *giggles* She does resemble a humanish toad in my brain.

And yes, I'm pretty sure it was meant to be the Great Hall.

Mine too. The picture of that Patsy lady was really almost exactly what I expected her to look like.

I'm glad. Because that was how I imagined that scene. In the great hall. Not the courtyard. That scene (and lots of the movie) I'm anticipating is going to suck because of dumb Umbridge. Unless she can act really spectacularly, I'm anticipating disappointment. (Which I can never spell and usually would open a word processor window to look up, but I'm trying to be surrepticious (which I probably also spelled wrong) and hitting keys really slowly and gently so as not to alert my chemistry teacher that I'm replying to someone rather than graphing a line. As graphing a line doesn't so much involve lots of typing. Though I've typed many more keystrokes than it would take to open a window and look it up now in trying to explain it, so we'll just ignore me. I didn't actually get to bed last night at all.)
