Our house isn't big enough to need one of those at all, lol. Our main computer thing is right in the middle of the kitchen; the monitor is right next to a microwave and right below the cabinet where we keep the cookbooks (that nobody ever gets down and looks at) and extra packages of noodles. But the computer is right by the stairs to the basement where my dad sleeps and only a wall, a hallway, and another wall away from my mom, so I sort of know what you mean.

And it wasn't even hot. I actually wore a jumper/top/thing the whole time.

Ooh, lovely. Though sick is bad.

I'm actually ditching all weekday shifts once school starts again next year in February.

LOL, school starting again in February. I love this whole northern-hemisphere/southern-hemisphere thing. Makes for loads of entertaining mental doubletakes.

That's actually a good idea, though. I hadn't considered trying to get a job and only work on weekends. Because I've got a place that I want to work at, if they'll let me, this little computer stuff store that I really like because they're hugely cheaper than everyone else, but I'm reluctant to actually go apply because I'm afraid I can't handle working on weekdays with school and how sometimes I don't get home from school until 5 and such. I must look in to that.

Urgh, don't even remind me. At the beginning of the year I was doing so well, but then my laziness and major procrastination and every other week sicknesses started and now my grades are pretty much sucky. I hate that, because I've got the test scores and such to get into really top notch universities easily, but I'm not good at traditional schooling (which is why I hope college will be better) and so my grades are bad.

Yes, you must. Jobs are good. Even better when you actually like the place. I only applied for a position at my shop ('my' shop. Haha.) because my friend was working there and she said they were desperate for people. But I do like it there, so I guess I was lucky.

We're like, badschoolgrades twins. Laziness, major procrastination and sickness are my main problems when it comes to grades, too. Well... they're my only problems.

I am actually looking forward to university, because it is so different to school. You're entirely independent and the hours are less (allowing you more time for both procrastination AND study. Not sure exactly how that works, but I'm sticking to it) and such. And you're learning what you WANT to learn. Like, for example, I got top grades last year in Science when out topic was human biology, because I loved it so much. I was always contributing to class discussions and breezing through homework and assignments and such. Haha, repetitive use of 'and such'.

I definitely typed this. . . err, ages and ages ago, but then emailed it to myself because I wasn't done replying and then forgot. Bad me.

Lol. I almost burned my soup today, but that's it. Because I was cooking it in a saucepan and I usually just microwave it but the microwave doesn't so much work as not work because of the no electricity thing. And so I forgot that when it's on the burner, you can't just run off to the bathroom and forget about it like you can if it's in the microwave.

Indeed totally yes. Yay for bumping up the list. My list is so packed it isn't even funny. But it's so expensive to go anywhere on planes that it sucks.

Exactly. That's like me in bio at all. I was like yeah, Bs in classes, whatever, because I didn't care, but now I'm in biology and though it's mostly dumb stuff like plants and really basic stuff, it's so much cooler than dumb english class.
