That's pretty much what I thought. I'm loath to criticize anybody that writes regularly, as I don't at all, but if I just wrote the same story for two different fandoms, I would feel cheated myself. Like I didn't actually do the work. I was considering using very much the same scene in two fics; once as a one-shot more or less in a 5 things fic and then in one with a longer and slightly different backstory, and even that made me feel like I was cheating. (The feeling of which is my current excuse for not progressing on either.)
*tries to imagine who the Farscape characters were*
Well, just judging by the first line (I didn't actually read the whole Farscape one once I realized that lots of it was word for word) Susan is Chiana, Delenn is indeed Zhaan, and Talia is Aeryn. Crazy. There are differences to make it specific to the characters, but here's the first line from the Babylon 5 one:
Susan brought the vodka. Only the best from her personal supply. She never disclosed just how she got such a regular supply on the station nor how much she paid for it. And they didn't ask. Delenn did not as a rule consume alcohol so that left Susan and Talia to share the bottle between them. Not a problem.
And from the Farscape one:
Chiana had brought Razlak. Two flasks, probably from Rygel's personal stash though she didn't say where it had come from exactly. And they didn't ask. Zhaan did not as a rule consume alcohol so that left Chiana and Aeryn with a flask each. Not a problem.
The sex scene also has some different (added, really, the main stuff is still the same) bits, but the dialogue during (which is what popped out at me first) is the same. And just by skimming through the Farscape one, I noticed some interesting and character specific bits that weren't in the other, but I didn't really feel like reading them because 2/3 of the paragraphs I've already read.
