Wrote this yesterday, but internet still wasn't working, so posting it now.
House episode on Tuesday? (3.04 "Lines in the Sand") One of the best in a while, IMO. Mostly because of all the slashy goodness.
House's "ATTICA" thing sounded like a bad pronunciation of 'article' at first to me. Hugh had the last 'a' all funny sounding. Was hard to figure out what he was saying until he said it without shouting.
The little kid did a really good job. I was impressed. But the screaming really got annoying after a while.
Little skank-ho girl annoyed me. But I absolutely loved when Cuddy kicked her out of the parking lot. That's the kick ass Cuddy that we all know and love.
Chicky didn't pull down her shirt far enough for House to see if she really had a mole on her breast or not. (Though I decided in the middle of math class yesterday that Cuddy was talking about my breasts, because I do have one there, and for some reason that really entertained me. But it had been reported to me that it was supposedly on her left, but she really said it was on her right, so mine actually doesn't work. But it still entertained me. /pointless TMI story.)
House had a hickey. Or something. But I'm thinking hickey. Right side, inch or inch and a half below his ear. Very visible in the scene where the chick derobes in the clinic, right after Foreman comes in. Yay, the slashy goodness that comes with one of the characters having a hickey.
Wilson coming in to his office when the ducklings are there was hilarious. A strange typo indeed. And right when Wilson came in, it cuts to House, who looks him up and down. Covert eyegrope, anyone? "Thank you for coming." "No problem." A very funny scene. One of my favorites in this episode.
Stories. Feelings. Toys. Did anyone else go "OMG, the gay!" at that? Toys. *dies*
Cameron's whole little "It's not a power play!" analysis type thing was interesting.
And when she's like "This has nothing to do with Cuddy" and then Cuddy comes in, the look on her face was great. She deliberately looks at herchest, and then looks away, like she's trying not to stare at the amazingsex. The face she makes when she looks back towards House is very "*sigh* I was looking at her chest. I shouldn't have been looking at her chest. God, why am I in so much love with her? This is stupid and wrong and is going to be nothing but pain." And then Cuddy looks at her when she leaves, like "Why won't you make eye contact with me? That's strange." Very unrequited/unknown love type stuff.
Chase made absolutely sure that House wasn't going to say anything else before he got up. Yay, House/Chase. That's been very prevalent this season. I'm a House/Wilson girl through and through, but I see no reason for House not to have a dalliance with Chase in order for Wilson to realize his deep and unending love.
"You better not be having fun!" "She's pretty." "Men are stupid." I love my Cuddy. I do. She is so great. The way she said 'pretty' was just analyzable on so many levels.
Foreman passing the biopsy off on Wilson. No. Just no. Bad Foreman. Bad, lazy Foreman.
House sucking on the mask. Lol.
Cameron = circle queen. I've never heard that terminology before, but tres accurate.
The toy. "Bend over and relax." Would anyone ever give anyone a toy like that seriously? If it hadn't appeared that House hadn't seen it before, I would have assumed he gave it to Wilson. And then Wilson just opens the door, looks in, and leaves again. I love Wilson. He has more or less redeemed himself from the bad losing of cool that occurred when he moved in with cancer girl.
"Unless you want to make out." What a very House thing for Wilson to say. Lisa Edelstein is standing funny. She's all bent backwards like.
Foreman's afraid of 'the (wo)man'. As it should be.
They didn't stabilize the kid before taking him to CICU? Umm, okay? So they just let the kid be oxygen deprived while they waited for the elevator? We heard the nasty beeping, yet we didn't know he was in v. fib until we got to the unit? Is there some kind of magical cardiac unit rule that says that you can't resuscitate someone unless you're in the CICU? No bagging? No drugs? No compressions on the way up? (I suppose we don't know if he was in some kind of stable, yet bad, rhythm on the way up, stable v. tach. per say, and it just happened to change just as they got him hooked to the CICU monitor or not, but that doesn't preclude drugs and possibly oxygen.)
"I'm ovulating, let's go." Another one of the best lines of the episode for the sheer way she delivered it. Cuddy's dry humor is hot.
House was definitely channeling Highlander when he did the cane spin-sword sheath thing. *nudges Katie* Our crossover is just getting more plausible by the minute.
House as preacher. Yay. "And you've already testified."
I love the waterfall wall of prettiness. I want one of those.
"She showed up at my house last night. Came on to me." *dies* And you know, House doesn't miss a beat. Like it's perfectly normal for Cuddy to have women hitting on her, and the only thing that changes is to make the women more hot. Cuddy = lesbian proof number. . . what are we on now?
Cuddy in pink shirt has triceps like whoa. Que sex. I have triceps like that. For some reason, with the orchestraing perhaps, that muscle is really strong on me.
Jimmy Johnny was his? Yeah. How beautifully, amazingly obvious.
Yay, nipple line. Cuddy's little quirky "I win" smile entertained me way more than it should. Even more entertaining? You know who has moles all over her chest? Cameron. No kidding. So it stands to very logical supposition that she could have one below her right nipple also. Yeah. Somebody with a mole beneath their right nipple showed up at Lisa's house last night, that's for sure.
"She's locked up in my office." Kay. The way she said that? Really hot.
"It doesn't take much to see that the problems of two little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world." Yay for me understanding the references. (Yay for Star Trek being where I really recognized that line from.)
Going in to the appendectomy OR was great. "Like I said, don't touch his eye." Lol.
Aww at Wilson lying to Cuddy about the Asberger's to get the carpet put back in. Cuddy's a sucker for a good argument.
"All change is bad? It's not true, you know." I definitely immediately went to "OMG, she's all happy because change = her + Cuddy." You could definitely write a whole bunch of Cameron/Cuddy goodness just weaving its way through this episode. I really would like to do just that, as while watching this whole story just created itself in my head, but I know that I'm not good enough to pull it off.
So, thus ends shipperylove filled comments. This is definitely way longer than most of my stories. Way longer than several put together. That's sad.
