*Is thinking about writing a fic.*
Problem is, I've got one basic scene that fits in 3 different fics that I was going to/am writing. The sameish plot fits in the story where it's by itself that I began last spring, the "5 Things That Gregory House Missed While Recovering" or "5 Things That Gregory House Never Found Out About" (Depending on whether I can actually get them to fit to the second title. And providing that I come up with 4 other things.), and the one that I'm closerish (I've got basic ideas for all 5, and some bits written of 2 of them) to finishing/actually writing, "4 Ways Lisa Cuddy Didn't Have Her Baby (And One She Did)."
I prefer the Lisa one to the House one, just because if it's the House one (for whichever title) I feel like I've got to have them all fit in the same universe, and the Cuddy one is definitely not all in one universe. Thinking about this dilemma was where the Cuddy one came into being. I just like the 'Never Found Out About' thing, as lately there's been a House-is-all-knowing theme.
Yeah, I sort of jumped on the 5 things bandwagon. Because if it'll get me to actuallywrite finish something, I'm all for it. I haven't completed anything in a while.
Actually, I might have. I seem to remember a drabblish fic containing therein Cuddy, Cameron, and idealism. *looks* Huh. Yeah. 20 June. More recent than I had thought.
Anyway. *sighs* I had hoped to have this english paper done by midnight. I've written practically nothing. And still have math to do.
Edit: You know I'm pretty tired when I'm seriously considering using the phrase "his twisted mistress, Capitalism" in my paper.
Edit: (20 minutes later) I figure I'm done enough. I'm still 104 words short, but more than that, I'd really like to rewrite the whole thing, but I just don't have time. Which is sad. Because if I could actually figure out what I'm trying to say in this paper, I think it could be pretty good. It's got twisted mistresses, it's got familial neglect, it's got ragging on capitalism, it's got my cynical biology talk about the point of life. However, it's also got a whole 400 or so words that I really should take out, as I only need maybe 100 or so to prove my Death of a Salesman/Capitalism connection upon which I build the rest of my stuff, but I need those 400 to get close to my wordcount. Sadness.
