Oh, and I'm mad at my math teacher. For grading my test meanly. She took off half the points of the question where any other teacher would have taken off one point or one-half, for things like a missing negative. There was one question where it said to describe the behavior of the graph to the left and right of each asymptote, and I described the bits going down on either side from the asymptote instead of the bits on either side going up to the asymptote, and she took off all the points. My answer was just as valid. *is angry* I haven't done that poorly on a math test in a long time.

And my english teacher is still assigning 16 times the work that the other english teacher that is teaching the same course is. We've got these article things to read and do a "journal entry" over every night, and she still expects us to have a whole rough draft of a paper by Wednesday, while the other class doesn't do the articles and only has to have 300 words of their draft on Wednesday.

Went to doctor right after school. Had to walk, which was not fun. It was hot and sunny and if you squint, I'm definitely more tanned than I was this morning. Bad. But the doctor is nice, she knows me even though I don't see her that often, and we always talk about books and colleges and things and she really seems to be a nice person, which is good.

I do that a lot. I hate negatives. But my teacher sounds way cooler than yours - he acknowledges that it's a silly mistake, and he marks us fairly for it. Probably because the majority of the class makes the same mistake, but that's beside the point.

That's good. I only made one actual mistake as in not knowing the answer. One I had the right answer for, but had the work reversed, so that one was wrong, one I forgot a negative, one was the weird asymptote thing, and another I didn't distribute a coefficient correctly. And as a result, my grade sucked. Like, I almost failed, sucked. The teacher I had last year would have taken off like 3, maybe 6 points out of the 55 or so for that (minus the asymptote thing, on which I was right).

Well, she told us that the class average was a 76% or some such, which is not great. When a lot of the class does poorly, I think it's a reflection more on her teaching than on us.
