Signing up for this mini-med school thing at Wash.U. Because I'd been looking at the website, waiting to be old enough to do it for more than 5 years now, and I was finally old enough last year, but missed the deadline (as they publish the new dates for the sessions only 4 weeks before they start).
It's Tuesday nights, though. I'm going to miss my House. (Which can be taped/downloaded, so that's okay.) But NCIS and SVU are (at least right now) on at the same time, and I can't tape both of them, so that makes me sad.
Did you know that there was a Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre group in St. Louis? They're Shakespeare people. I think I'm going to use them for my theatre thing. Though I liked my made up Princeton-Plainsboro Theatre House thing, it turns out we've got to have a real one.
This = sad.
On September 8, the Ugandan newspaper Red Pepper published a list of 13 women they claim are lesbians. Homosexuality is a criminal offence in Uganda, and Amnesty International believes that making such allegations against these women may put them in danger. The article called for people to name other women suspected of being lesbians in order to ''rid our motherland of the deadly vice.''
So everybody that is cool like that, go do this email letter thing with Amnesty International here and tell all these Ambassadors/President people that this is crap.
