Okay, number one. Did it seem to anybody else that the writers were playing a game called "Let's see how many times we can use the words 'meaning' and 'reason' in this episode!"?

2. (And this is my big one.) What the hell was with the Cuddy crying thing? I mean, if you go deep enough, you can connect it to her feelings of inadequacy as a doctor as compared to House, (she needs her Stacy Cameron harem to cuddle and make it all better) going back to "Humpty Dumpty" and all, but I figure that I'm reading way too far into that. Is there a shallower explanation that I'm missing, perhaps that she just was overcome with joy at seeing this guy walk again?

3. Remember how I said that I didn't want any more bad medicine? What is it with the writers and curing muscle freaking atrophy in a matter of minutes?

4. They did, however, mention that House did his rehab and stuff, so though it's still highly unlikely that he would be able to run 8 miles, I'm a little less apt to condemn every time I see him walking without a limp.

5. I really like the Cuddy and Wilson discussing what they need to do with regards to House. They brought that over from last season, and for some reason I think it's interesting.

6. How many freaking times did we need to be reminded that this happy(ish)!House thing isn't permanent? I think we got it.

7. When House was like "I knew you wouldn't want to go out with me, Cameron, because I'm better now," I expected it to be as a kind of "aha, my point is proven" thing, but it didn't seem to have been acted as such well. He wasn't aha-y and he wasn't disappointed, he just was. Which was stupid. He should have been aha-y.

In all, this episode didn't really interest me that much. Even beyond all the things that I was picking out as bad or weird or whatever, it just didn't hold my attention. I was really tired, though, which may have added to it. I'm going to try to watch it again soon, see if maybe it won't be as bad when I'm not trying not to fall asleep on the couch.

Perhaps next week will be better, with the previews promising yet another explosive Cuddy/Cameron confrontation. Like I've been saying, just once I'd like those two to have a scene together where they make out without one of them being confrontational/rude/snappish.

Definitely. That's totally what it is. And even when they're angry, they're still in the same scene, and us femslashers have to take what we can get.

That pretty much happened to me with 2x01 of Bones.

Whoa! Bones? I haven't seen those around the old fencepost. (I have no idea why I just said that, but it was the first phrase that popped into my head.)

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. (Ooh, so that means tomorrow also.) I hate trying to do homework while watching TV, as I get my homework done, but I forget what happened on TV.

I want them to rerun the pilot, the Christmas one, and the one where Angela's boyfriend was dead. Because those were all with the Tempe/Angela love.

Well, that indeed. I actually thought at the very beginning of the show that she was really funny looking. Now she's kinda grown on me, but I still think she's funny looking (just in a good way).

Its my other thing to go with writing. And riding. I really don't do much else. Sometimes I go for crazy runs, as you have experienced. Otherwise...not much else.
