I was reading this Serenity RPG book at the bookstore, and I realized how much I missed the RPG I was in last year. So I rejoined. End of story.
But my biggest problem is that while reading that book, I got a whole character in my head that I could use were I to ever play. And she was a pretty cool one too.
And I've got two characters (since I don't remember enough about my old 5 to reprise any of them) that I want to do for the Star Trek one that I just rejoined but I'm going to try and limit myself to just one, and the other isn't going to get used. And I'm still not sure which one to use--one of them transferred onto the ship because of a problem with her old CMO in deep space pursuing her and then when she rejected him giving her all kinds of trouble (which I then have two options as to how to go from there that I totally fleshed out last night) and the other went straight out of the academy to work under Admiral Nechayev in special (read: secret) ops as a doctor on various planets.
I'm leaning toward the Nechayev one, just because I'd been wanting to do a character in Nechayev's forces when I was in there before and the other idea, though more fleshed out (I actually wrote up a whole scene where she explains why she left) I just came up with.
Hell, I'm probably going to have to do them both.
