Does that work when you're older? I know that in my elementary school I had kids that left class for 30 minutes or so a few times a week to go to the speech/reading therapist that was there, but I've always sort of assumed that you had to get it done early.

Yup. Especially with all the drug names. A lisped s could get a totally different drug administered than the one you wanted.
