I don't think I ever mentioned this dream I had a few nights ago.

I was a doctor. (This is a common theme in my dreams.) And Cameron was there. We were at the hospital for part of the time, but at the main point that I remember, we were in a courtyard type thing similar to the one at the school. And Cameron bought meth from some suburban-looking mother who had one of her two kids (one of which had a cello and the other was wearing a dinosaur costume) holding the drugs for her. That was inside, and we walked outside and there was a cop car there. The cop (some 40ish blonde woman) beckoned us over, and I was about to run, but she goes over and hands over the drugs and makes something up about how she knew that the cop needed to see a transaction to be able to arrest the dealer, so she staged one for her. Which I knew was a total lie.

Anyway. Random.

Sometimes I can figure out my dreams, but this one, I've got no idea.

I had a dream last night I was in Battle Royale, but it was in my old, old, old house... and I was in the kitchen with my mum, and I said 'I'll check out the bedroom so we can hide in it'... so I went in, and I had to pee, and it had a wicker toilet, so I started peeing. And my sister came in, and tried to stab me, but I grabbed the knife with my hands (and I was still peeing, but pretending I wasn't?), and it cut my fingers, and I was 'BITCH, YOU'RE CUTTING MY FINGERS' and my sister was just 'FIGHT HARDER, BITCH', and my mum came in and got killed.

... yeah.

I suppose I might get it better if I knew what Battle Royale was.

Battle Royale was originally a Japanese novel that spawned two movies (both Japanese) and a manga series... they're making an American remake, too.

But basically, in the original, everywhere one 9th-grade is kidnapped and in three days, they're meant to kill everyone until only one 'player' remains. They're given food, water and a randomly selected weapon, which could range from a machine gun to a paper fan. They have collars around the neck, so the government (who runs it) can track what's going on. If the contenders go outside the allocated zones, nobody dies in 24 hours or more than one person is alive after three days, the bombs in the collars explode, thus, killing everyone.

It's a really awesome book, and the first movie was good. Second one was shitty. The manga was alright. I dunno how they're gonna handle the remake, because it's 42 15-year-olds killing each other/themselves.

Yeah, I dunno how they can make a bunch of 15 year olds kill each other in a movie. It'll definitely have to be rated R, at least.

To successfully portray the movie- that's what it was in Japan and when it was released (without a large film-making company backing them). Knowing most American remakes of such films, they'll probably cut out a lot of the core of the film.

And I'm betting Mischa Barton will play the romantic interest.
