Not even any rain or anything during the worst of it (I'm not sure even if there was any rain at all) but trees down all over and tractor-trailers knocked over on the highway and last I heard a train derailed.
They had redone the lights in the orchestra room, stopped the ones in the front row from flickering like they used to, so when the lights went out when we were in there, I thought the idiots in maintenance at the school rewired it wrong. Nope. But that would have been funnier.
And my mom was yelling at the Fox news people. Because they timed their Bad Weather Breaking News things just when the people were about to start to dance on "So You Think You Can Dance" (which I must admit is rather interesting, the actual dancing part) every time. 3 groups in a row. They showed the lame bits where they pick the type of dance and meet the choreographer and try a couple of steps, and then the announcer chick goes "And now, dancing to whatever by whomever, somebody and somebody!" and then it's all 'duh da duh da dip! Breaking Bad Weather Stuff! If you haven't yet noticed from the last 10 times we broke in this hour, it's crazy like a whore outside!'
