Even more heartbreaking and what made Sam/Teal'c my new OTP was the scene where she got the speech. She was sobbing and unable to come up with anything to say, because nothing seemed good enough. Teal'c came in to comfort her and she did the whole "I have to go, Cassie's waiting, I have to leave" and Teal'c stopped her. He said that he had pondered what he would say if given the chance and he gave her the speech she eventually made. She started crying and hugged him.
LOVE that scene. I can't bring myself to watch the whole episode, but I watch bits and pieces. It's about all I can stand.
Which says a LOT about Janet as a character and even more about Teryl as an actress.
