When Sue picked me up from school today and took me to the shopping centre for a Cocoa Loco (ie. mocha frappe) for me and white chocolate frappe for herself from Gloria Jean's, she was like, "I'm going to have to run for hours on the treadmill to get rid of this!" and it was both strange and wonderful. And reading this reminded me of that. Though, the amazingness of her body (considering she's gotta be at least late thirties) intimidates me and makes me reluctant to share any of my own body insecurities. She was a dancer (and I think still is), and she's got the whole tall, long-legged, beautifully proportioned, well-muscled thing happening. And I feel incredibly squat and pudgy despite my 168cm/63kg. Which still leaves me somewhat pudgy in certain areas.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SCHOLARSHIP BB! I get the embarrassed thing, though differently. When I got the scholarship to my old high school my mum decided not to tell me when she picked me up from year seven that afternoon, but to come to the door and announce to the class that I got it. Whoopee!
