commotiocordis: Green on black, an animated depiction of a normal heart rhythm on an ECG monitor. (Default)

  • 01:20:55: @Doris_Egan Hope everything's okay re: cardiologist visit. Hopefully it was a writing consult, not a personal health one!
  • 07:40:36: When you've got to be up at 7 and it's 5:30 and you still can't manage to fall asleep, you know it's going to be a bad day.
  • 17:08:19: @Grandpa_Jones Ooh, do you happen to know which episode? Most of the seasons are on Netflix streaming and I don't remember that one either.
  • 17:28:38: Mailed a letter $0.05 shy of full postage (it really wasn't; stamp said 1st Class), it gets sent back saying so and the stamp invalidated.
  • 17:29:45: I have to stick on another stamp plus a nickel stamp and I'm out 2 should-be-okay stamps and a nickel, and my parents house payment is late.
  • 17:31:37: I buy a phone on Ebay and it's $3.05 short of postage, but natch, I have to pay at my end instead of it being returned to sender for more $.
  • 17:32:01: Evidently, the USPS's rule regarding who pays when postage is insufficient reads as follows: "Alexandria does."
  • 17:34:07: @NathanFillion Congrats on the back nine! I think this requires epic feeding of the birds, sir.
  • 17:37:43: V. sad about how the Roman Catholic church keeps moving further to the right rather than evolving with the times. http://bit.ly/3Y3Tcg
  • 17:38:31: I was lucky to grow up in what still is a fairly liberal parish, but it's becoming harder and harder to ignore the political posturings.
  • 17:40:04: Though I say "still", but our priest retired on Sun & was replaced by one of article's said conservative Protestant converts. Perhaps not.
  • 23:09:35: Grabbed 2 black boots from my room on the way to the store. Walking in, I momentarily panicked--why was I limping? My boots were mismatched.
