Latest update in the shitty dentistry saga?
The tooth of doom -- cracked. I figure when the filling started sinking in (I think I mentioned that. If I didn't mention it, it did), it was too big for the progressively skinnier tooth cavity, and thus was putting increased pressure on it. Leading to the cracking whenever I bit down on the slightest thing to add the last necessary bit of pressure.
Not only that, but the receptionist at the third dentist that the second dentist sent me to when 2nd dentist broke off the drill in the root (though it's probably a moot point now), when called, said "Oh, but we can't get the drill out." Umm, the point of my getting sent to you was because you guys have the special microscope things to get out the drill. Otherwise, I would have just stayed with dentist 2 (or not, after all of this). WTF.
So yes. My tongue is pretty constantly brushing over the broken part (because it's on the inside edge of my tooth, of course, not the outside where it had already been drilled down), and it's freaking me out. Mostly because I don't know what happens next. I assume they're going to just have to pull it, which is freaking me out all in itself.
