Jun. 6th, 2006 09:40 pmOkay, so party was okay. Not horridly interesting, but
saturn_hime, Katie and I had a good time laughing at all the slashy bits in Julius Caesar. Caesar still blew the "Et tu, Brute" line. The signature freaking line, and he just doesn't do it right. Ever.
I think I have a shopping problem. I go shopping, find one or two things I'd like, get all ready to check out, and right before I get in line, I decide against it and put the things back. Even if other people are paying. I just can't spend (anyone's) money on things. It happens a lot, too. More with clothes shopping. But books and food too.
I haven't decided whether to go to Oklahoma or not yet. I had decided not to when my dad decided that we were going to leave tomorrow morning, but now it is back to the original Thursday morning, and I'm not sure. I don't know what the upside is for me in going: I've got to spend 8 hours in the car with a 10 year old and a 13 year old to go to Oklahoma (where the main attraction is the cheap movie theatre) and then 6 more hours to go to a different part of Oklahoma for the ministerification of an uncle I've seen once in 9 years into a religion that I am not. The only reason I had to go whatsoever was my slight desire to semi-stalk Chenoweth Dental.
And if I stay here, my dad's Babylon 5 dvds should be coming while they're gone, and he wants me to intercept them so my mom doesn't grab them and decide that she needs to hold them for his birthday.
And I don't have anything to wear (possibly due to above problem with shopping). I went to Kohl's just now and was angry at them. The US needs to standardize clothing sizes. Because I'm comfortably wearing one size of pants right now, and I couldn't fit into a pair marked 3 sizes above that a few minutes ago at the store. I did find a skirt and shirt, but put them back. Because I came there to find pants, as I have all of 3 pairs. And they didn't look horridly good on me.
I really need to just stop overanalyzing my clothing (non)purchases.
