Requested all the Kathy Reichs books from the library.  Got a bunch, but I want to read #1 first, so I put those back.  It turns out Tempe is married, at least at the beginning.  She leaves some city or other and her failing marriage to go work for the anthropology place.  In one of the books, her daughter (?!) may or may not be on this plane that crashed, and she's going to find remains and figure out whose they are and stuff.  At least they give her a nickname.  I don't like how Angela calls her 'Brennan', it's really weird.  Though the little shivers I get every time someone calls her 'Dr. Brennan' haven't gone away (only 8 years, yes!)  So.  Must find someone with screencaps.  That whole Tempe/Angela scene in the pilot?  Tres femslashy.

Ooh, Hallee Hirsh has a new show!  Cool.  Mum says she was never very good, but I never thought she was a bad actress.  I mean, come on, she was on ER, which has been my dream since somewhere around age 7, so she's automatically very cool.  But I suppose she's not ever going to be back on there again, seeing as Mark's dead and Elizabeth's gone.  I do wonder, though, if Lizzie's back in London, does Rachel ever get to see her half sister, Ella?  Well, she had some cool plots centered around her, the one where Ella gets poisoned by (not) her ecstasy was really good ("Damage is Done") and "On the Beach" was an automatic tear-jerker.  14 episodes of ER in season 8, plus one in season 10.  Lucky bitch.  I want to be a military brat whose parents can afford to get me an agent for commercials and stuff.  Some people really have all the luck.  Could be worse, I suppose, but it still hurts to see these people who have everything you've wanted yet know you'll never have.  It's not even the money, I just wanted to act.  On ER especially, it was my favorite show.  Before it started sucking.  Anyway.
Flipping through the TV guide.  Charmed was cool tonight.  I screamed, though, at the beginning.  Adrienne Wilkinson was the disguise for Phoebe.  I think.  See, the problem was that they were mixing themselves up, their father didn't know who was whom at any given time.  Though I wish that Adrienne became the permanant disguise for one of them, so that every time we see a reflection or some such, I would get my Livia fix.  Speaking of fixes...  Katie made me miss The OC!  God, I was over at her house, and didn't get home till 8, and I missed it.  I'm jonesing for Jeri Ryan!  She better know I love her after this!
More TV stuff:  I'm worried that all my old West Wing people will be gone when Santos wins.  I know Donna asks for a job with Josh, so she's on board, but would he take CJ as his Chief of Staff?  Bartlet once said that if your best friend is smarter than you and you would trust him with your life, that's your CoS.  CJ is not Santos' best friend.  Though she undoubtedly is smarter.  So, if CJ goes, the entire female west wing staff should pack up and threaten to go with her, because if they don't, they're not going to get any action.  I mean, come on.  That's all the femslash writers ever think about: CJ, CJ, CJ.
Ooh, just found out that Adrienne was in the season 11 finale of ER.  Huh.  Well, didn't notice her.  Didn't know who she was.  I only vaguely remembered plots from Xena before I bought the DVDs this summer; I was really young when they first came out.  Must look back and find it.  Looking through the episode listing, I'm going all reminiscent-y.  To a time when ER was great.  The best thing on TV.  And how I learned to pronounce all those medical terms I was learning from the copy of Harrison's Principals of Internal Medicine I got for my 11th birthday.  Now, it's really... ehh.  And Maggie Doyle, how about her?  The lesbian, gun-toting, vegetarian.  Sounds like me, minus the gun bit.  Jorja Fox, before she got all plain.  Gina Toscano was the best character she did, though.  I don't actually remember how she died, I only started watching West Wing this year, and the weekly reruns just got to season 2.  Another lesbian (oh, come on, you know she was.), gun-toting, vegetarian (well, why not.  Vegetarians are cool).  And Sara Sidle, yet another (well, if you ask me) lesbian, gun-toting, vegetarian.  Anyone else picking up on a kind of pattern here?  Good.
More Psychology notecards I'm not doing.
