And I burned it so bad it almost caught fire, and the whole house stank really bad.
Ooh. Bad. Last time I made scrambled eggs I oiled up the pan and turned on the fire when I went to look for the eggs and then I found the fakey eggs (egg substitute stuff that has less calories and no cholesterol and if you eat them with ketchup or something you can't really tell the difference) and measured them out and I came back and the oil had like burned. Doubt it smelled as bad as burning sugar, though.
I suck at keeping my awakeness a secret. Whenever I try to be extra quiet I end up making more noise than usual, so yeah.
Urgh. That's bad. I'm usually really quiet. It's just when my brother comes out that I get yelled at. Because my brother is going through some crazily clumsy stage where he knocks down and drops everything (like my hard drive. Grr). And he always comes out to the kitchen or wherever I am on the computer to see if I'm still up. And drops things. And tells me things loudly. Which is annoying. He doesn't seem to care if he wakes everybody up. But I do. Because I've got homework or whatever left to do and my parents will yell at me to go to bed and I can't because I've still got work to do.
I had some wicked falls last time I went.
Ouch. You know, I haven't gone in a couple of years. I'll have to go this year. Tis fun, falls or no. (Though preferably no. And the fun leeches away if there are more than a few falls. Or if you die.)
I've never seen snow.
Oh my god. Wow. We had snow lots of times when I was younger. But never any good snows in the last bunch of years. Blame it on global warming. I haven't gotten to sled down a snowy hill in a really long time. Because it will snow, but just a little bit and then it won't stick or won't be enough to sled on. Which is sad. But no snow ever is sadder. Yay for you getting to play in it next year.
And if it MUST be hot, then I like the hot-hot heat, not the muggy-humid heat.
Yeah. Because at least you're not really sticky and gross. And you can breathe. It always feels hard to breathe for me when it's muggy. I don't know why, it's not like really hard, but it just sort of feels like it, you know?
We're having it at this park, and it's going to be thirty degrees.
Ouch. I hope there's lots of shade.
I have been appointed Face Painter.
Ooh. Capital Face, capital Painter. Sounds fun. Painting is good.
At least I'll be in the shade. That's the best part.
Aha. So there is shade. Good. Yay, shade.
Adventure World alone is over $30 for people our age to get in.
Yeah, the theme park thing near me (it's about a 30 or 40 minutes drive) is like that. It's silly, though, because if you buy a ticket full price it's like $36 or something like that, but you can buy a season pass from the grocery store or the community center for only $50.
I probably won't do anything for my birthday, because I'm planning to savesavesave.
Saving money is good. I try to save money. I don't get much, though, as I don't have a job really. Which is sad. But I don't really have time. I should be able to make time, but I'm not that cool.
I'm having to go through my inbox, because there are some that get lost and forgotten about, because they've been sitting there for a while and other emails have overtaken them.
Eee. Yeah. I move all my lj comments into a special folder called --you'll never guess-- LJ Comments after I reply to them. It's handy because I'm going to try to go through them at some point because as I review pretty much everything I read, I should be able to find some of the good fics that I'd like to save again.
