My dad locked his ladder away somewhere where I couldn't find it =(
Oh. Sad. Though perhaps for good reason, trying to keep you off the roof and all.
In summer I can get up at seven and still be on time, seeing as the dress is oh so easy to put on. In winter I need to get up around six thirty because it takes a while for me to get dressed, after showering and whatnot.
School starts at 7:30 and my bus comes at 6:48ish, so I should be getting up around 6 or 6:15, but I try most of the time to stay asleep until 6:30 because I'm lazy and usually up way too late the night before. I have to do most of my showering at night because I know that if I wait to do it until the morning, I'll be too tired and decide just to go back to sleep for a few more minutes and then I'll end up not showering at all. Bad.
I have to do some work for her to catch up, and I have to do other stuff as well.
I'm actually doing better than last year for some reason, or I started out the year that way. But I'm falling back into my old habits of not doing work and turning it in late and stuff. But not because I'm playing or whatever, but because I've got so much that I've got to take one thing as a late grade just so I can get the others even crappily done. My grades have never been amazing since I last gave a damn about school (which really was never, even when I was young, but in elementary school you don't have to do anything to get A's) though.
My problem is that I generally don't need to do the work. I'd not do any of the math homework for that chapter/section (just fake it right before class with the answers from the back of the book and random answers for the ones not in the back), read or do other work that I had to actually hand in (math is generally just checked by the teacher walking by and making sure you've done something) while the teacher was teaching, and then look at the math book for 5 minutes before the test and be able to get, if not an A, then a high B. That's in math. In chemistry, however, I didn't don't even bother to fake the homework, which sort of kills my grade, but I don't care overly much.
That and my classes are hellacious. Not in that they're overly difficult, just that the higher level classes assign huge amounts of homework. I feel like all I do anymore is do homework and sleep and if I'm feeling particularly like wasting time, I'll watch an hour or so of TV. Which I don't like. (The only doing work thing, not TV. I like TV.)
And then of course you get sick and miss the day that the teacher happens to teach everything of substance in the chapter. That's horrible. I was/am sick a lot and I despise playing catch-up all the time in classes.
