And he wonders why I find girls more appealing I say boys are gross.

LOL. Indeed.

though she loves the part in Mob Rules, I think it is, where House is playing along with the song on his iPod, before Vogler comes in and ruins it.

Hee, I love that bit too. My sister is 10, and rather slashy. She'll do this little pointed look thing if we're watching TV and a subtext bit comes on, the same as my slashy friends and I do. Which is cool. When she's not being whiny and annoying.

You know, I think I prefer CSI fanfiction to the actual show. Which isn't actually that strange, though, as many shows I'm like that, but this one to a greater extent. Grissom annoys me. A lot.

I watched Cold Case occasionally, but I seem to think that it was on at the same time as something else I watched, so I didn't get to see it much.

I had major love for Xena (the little kid kind, where you're all like "yay for Xena! I wanna be like Xena when I grow up!"), and I remember bawling my eyes out in that episode where she dies.

Oh, me too. Even when I rewatched it when I bought the DVDs June before last, I was all "And now Gabrielle's all alone! *cry*"

Yeah, she actually died like 6 times. And every time, the episode was very Xena/Gabrielle.

Hell, the whole show was X/G. Very obviously. Like considered canon, obviously. For example: in the uber bits? (One type of the 3 kinds of Ubers on there, the reincarnation ones), there was all this talk about soulmates and how Xena and Gabrielle were meant to be together through all eternity. They had switched actors/bodies, Xena was in Joxer's body and Gabrielle was in her own, so for the first part of that bit it was het but slash because it was X and G's souls, but in the second episode with those characters, they got switched back to their "right" bodies, and there was cuddling and lines like "No matter how hard Ares has tried, he's never been able to split us up." "And he never will."

And the make-out session in the last episode. And the one in season two. And the girlfriend references and how Gabrielle was the 'father' of Xena's baby and "Looks like you got your daughter back." "Our daughter." and . . . well, you get the picture. Xena is definitely on my list of top shows ever. Even before I grew up and went "OMG, they're lesbians. Cool!"

Yeah, when I was 6 or 7, I was this lame little geeky kid who pretty much didn't speak the same language as everybody else (as in kindergarden they were all "Yay, Power Rangers" and I was all "And the subtext and power themes in A Wrinkle in Time were amazing. Have I told you about how I like brain surgery? Neuroblastomas are fun!") and I thought Xena was the coolest thing ever.
