XD My dad used to teach 7th grade history, but this year was switched (I say 'was' because he didn't exactly have a choice in the matter; he had his gifted teaching certification, so they said go teach) to middle school gifted and 7th grade literature. My mom does gifted too, elementary school.
They drive them and help them get information about the elections and candidates that they may not get because of whatever reason.
That's really cool. I'll have to find out if anyone around me does that, and maybe see if our people want to.
I live in Florida and the school was just WAY too conservative to allow us to have something like that!
Ahh, my school is much the same way. (Missouri's such a frakking red state.) Our liberal union and Amnesty are tiny, and the GSA both had to be called something else and never really got off the ground.
