That's really hilarious. My friend Katie and I used that all the time last year. Not even having read it anywhere or anything, I thought we made it up. That was our phrase for everything. "God, [whoever], you fail at life. Just stop. Stop failing, okay?" 'You win at life' just came naturally from that.
I have a serious procrastination problem.
Oh, yeah, ditto. I'll take an assignment like a one paragraph answer to a question that should take me less than half an hour and it'll take me 3 hours because I'll go to look something up on the internet, and then see some news or something on the home page, and read that and then check my mail and then it just goes from there. It'll take me 30 minutes to remember that I'm supposed to be doing something, and then I'll go back to my work, and the cycle starts all over again.
Like, I'd read fic and update my LJ, but it was just too slow for much anything else.
Yeah, that was pretty much it for me too. But that's still more or less all I do online, save that I download a lot more stuff now. Even before, though, I was downloading whole episodes of TV shows even though it was taking like 24 hours straight of download time.
They don't seem to be able to process the fact that not all teenagers are obsessed with phones...
Yeah, I don't have any phone save my normal landline. I've only got one friend that I can talk to for more than 5 minutes, and we don't talk on the phone that often. So I figure I have no reason to have one.
