I can't do that. If I'm doing homework, it's just homework, because if there is something that I can distract myself with, I'll do it. I have a serious procrastination problem.
I feel lucky now; we have wireless at my mum's house and ADSL at my dad's. At mum's we have her PC, Asha's PC, my laptop and mum's laptop, and at dad's we have my laptop and the PC. We're internet addicts.
I practically never used the internet when we wtill had dial-up at my dad's. Like, I'd read fic and update my LJ, but it was just too slow for much anything else. I had a mobile for emergency calls. I can't find it now, though... people hear that, and go "OMG YOU HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIND YOUR PHONE FOR LIKE TWO MONTHS AND YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN A NEW ONE?" They don't seem to be able to process the fact that not all teenagers are obsessed with phones...
We had the same thing, though, when I was younger - we couldn't use the net if we were expecting a call anywhere within two freaking hours of the time.
