Was looking at the phone bill. Evidently, we're paying $35 a month for the $20 DSL service. *shakes head* These people screw us over more often than is rutting believable. Same bill, evidently, it cost $5 a minute for my sister to call collect from Space Camp, plus all the extra charges. (I put this fault, however, more on the people at Space Camp who wouldn't let them bring cell phones and discouraged calling cards because of the hassle.)

So I'm prolly going to call them at some point (maybe wait until my dad gets home, as it's his name on the bill, so they might get pissy about listening to me bitch) and complain.

Omg there really are Space Camps. I want to go!

I wish it was actual space. That would be too wicked awesome for words. It's supposed to be (if you go to the older ones, my sister's only 11) v. v. similar to actual astronaut training, though. Like, the high school one has scuba diving to simulate reparing something on the outside of the shuttle in space.

I found myself sort of pissed, though, because she got to go and have all this money spent on her (more than anyone expected, due to the $300 phone bill we got when she got home), but when I was that age (it's through the school's gifted program), we had absolutely zero money, so I couldn't go. Erm, yeah. That's just me there. I want equivilent cash moneys to the upwards of $1000 that all together got spent on her for this trip. I could buy a car. I'd have to learn to drive it, but I could.
