I want to find out who picks the music for House. Because I love her. It's so cool, I figure they know what she's (I'm assuming she, but could be a man) doing, and are just like "whatever".

Because there are so many House/Wilson songs. All these songs that they picked presumably because they represent House have the Wilson element in them too, which makes it all with the greatnes.

Inspired because I'm listening to "Hallelujah" (the gayest and most House/Wilson song ever) and actually looking closely at the lyrics.

Prompt 'carriage' or 'poison'?

Well, those are random. I'm voting for carriage, just because I really have no idea how that would be done (save maybe smuttage in one of those horse-pulled buggy things that still go around the cities sometimes).

Speaking of cracked-out smutfic. I'm going to have to try to write some more on mine at some point. (Probably not today, as since Monday I've gotten all of 3 hours of sleep total with this crazy-arsed schoolwork.) My biggest problem is that my ficcage (even though it's only maybe 2/3 done) is rather long. And I'm thinking it's boring, because (IMO) it's very detailed, and takes just about a whole page just to get to the actual shagging, even though there's nothing else in the fic. Grr. I'm still going to try to get at least a preliminary thing of it done by next Tuesday if I can, just so that I'll have actually finished it.

That's my story.

They're from my prompt table.

I haven't decided whether I'll take the implied meaning or a different one, though there aren't very many other meanings.

That's a problem? I love long fic!

Psssht. At least you have something before the shagging. Most of my one shots are just "OMGTHESEX".

There really aren't. What fandom are you doing these for?

Me too, but it's not long as in with plot. Or long at all really, just longer than what I've seen around. I've been 'researching' for a while now how other writers write smut, and it tends to be over with in only a few lines. Mine's already more than a page. Ergo, I think it's a bit long.

At least you have something before the shagging.

Oh, there isn't really anything before the shagging. It just takes a page to get past the foreplay. The entire story was just based on this situation that I came up with randomly a little less than 2 years ago and wanted to use.

Basically there's an elevator in the hospital that doesn't alarm when you hit the stop button (since then we've found out that at least one of them actually doesn't, but they never do on TV shows) and Cuddy doesn't think anybody else knows about it, as it's the back lift and doesn't go anywhere useful. So she and Cameron are in with the sexing. And when they get off the elevator, House and Wilson are sort of non-chalantly just reaching the doors to hit the button to get on and (presumably) go all in with the sexing themselves.
Random crack situation, but when I picked it back up a while ago (all I really had before was just a first few lines) I turned it into an exercise in writing smut.

House. Cuddy/Cameron.

That's just because they're lazy.

:O Hot. Just...HOT. Elevatorsmut is in short supply. And its like, the best kind.

I think mine will probably be short, this time. Like "OMG, look, carriage" *sexing ensues*.

Though, if you wanted to take it a totally different direction, one archaic definition of carriage is administration or management, which in turn could = Cuddy.

But carriage sexing is hot.

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
But carriage sexing is hot.
Indeed. And possibly uncomfortable. For them, I mean.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
And possibly uncomfortable.

Yeah. Probably. Those carriage things are pretty small. And open. And the horses are right in front of you. Not so much a turn-on.

So yeah. You've got your work cut out for you on that one. XD

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
But horses are great. So great.

You've got your work cut out for you on that one. XD
I think so, yes. I should really start it.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
But horses are great. So great.

Horses=great. Horse butts=not so much. (I keep typing House instead of horse. XD)

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
My horse is great. So is his butt. Except I found he doesn't like when you sit on it.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Except I found he doesn't like when you sit on it.

Wouldn't you just. . . slide off?

I'd imagine I wouldn't like it if somebody sat on my butt either.

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 04:16 am (UTC)(link)

Well, if you're sitting on my horse's butt you fall off, but on my mom's horse, its just like a big couch. His whole back. Its great.

I'd imagine I wouldn't like it if somebody sat on my butt either.
But what if it was someone really cool? Like Lisa Edelstein?
I mean, I have no idea why she would be, but you know, this is a hypothetical situation.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
Couch!horse. Yay for that.

But what if it was someone really cool? Like Lisa Edelstein?

If she was sitting on my butt for the purposes of giving a massage to be followed by hot lesbian sex, yeah, I think I'd enjoy that. Just a little. XD

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 05:31 am (UTC)(link)

I think we should kidnap her for those purposes.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 05:46 am (UTC)(link)

I concur heartily. But first I'm going to have to learn how to drive a getaway car. (Or any car, for that matter.)

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I've only driven twice. Manuals scare me.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
Automatics scare me. And manuals too, by extension. I've driven probably 12 times, all just from my house to the larger street at the end of my neighborhood, as I won't set foot wheel on any street with more than one lane on each side. Because I'm not that good yet, as these drivings were only about 1/2 a mile and that's pretty much the extent of my driving experience, save some fooling around in parking lots with my dad when I was 13/14. I just don't like cars on the road when I'm trying to drive. They freak me out, as I know that I'm not very good, so I get even worse when I'm practicing and worrying about hitting somebody.

Last time I drove was back in May or so. I just haven't bothered to learn, mostly, as I've got no real motivation to do so. It's not like I go that many places; I'll go to a friend's house maybe once every month or two, and I can walk to the library, and then school, and pretty much besides that I stay home.

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, roads scare the hell out of me.
I constantly stalled in the manual I drove. And screeched when I did it. My stepdad just laughed at me.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 06:59 am (UTC)(link)
I constantly stalled in the manual I drove.

Manuals are so uncommon here in all but really old cars and really expensive ones that it's unlikely that I'll ever need to drive one. Still, I'd like to learn all the same, just in case, but due to above conditions, it would be difficult. I figure I should learn at least on an automatic rather than using the difficulty of the manual as another excuse not to learn at all.

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
I think they're a little more common here, because if you get your license in one, you can drive both automatics and manuals, but if you get your license in an automatic, you can only drive automatics.
My mother insists I get mine in a manual, and even though I freak out at the thought, I kind of agree.

[identity profile] crashcart9.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
I agree also. In case you were kidnapped or something and your only method of escape was a car with a manual transmission.

Here, you take your test in whatever car you've been practicing in, and then you can drive anything. So you could take your test in a manual, but it wouldn't do you any good.

[identity profile] veils.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
I think they should do that here. But I also don't. I don't know.
