Managed to do that almost-passing-out thingie while reffing tonight. Once I could have written off as a fluke, I locked my knees or whatever, but twice in 6 weeks for no apparent reason is a little freaky.
Got to play in the first game, though, as they were short. Was fun. I didn't do overly well at first, but had like 8 serves in a row at one point (which isn't anywhere near my record, but for not having done it in more than a year. . .). My knees hurt, however, as I didn't have my kneepads and yet I insist on diving for the ball.
Yay, lasagna for dinner. Yum.
Edit: *drops lasagna on pants* Oops.

Ahh, that would be better I think. I would always be like "what if I blew away from the rest of the group?", but with somebody else, that wouldn't be as bad. And videorecording it would be great. Killer fun.
There are other trips my school holds, too, like a trip to Italy for all the students who take Italian classes (I'm pretty sure that one isn't annual, though.), and a trip over to Melbourne (in Victoria, an eastern state. Sorry if you knew that already) every two years for netballers, footballers and the school debating team.
Yeah, our Spanish kids go to Costa Rica, the French ones to France, and the German ones to Germany every couple of years. I'm not going to get to go, though, because I can't do it the summer they're going to Costa Rica and I have no money. Other than that, though, we tend to stay at least within the country. Little trips, driving usually, no more than 10 hours or so for band and things, but that's all. Nothing I'm in ever gets to go anywhere.
the house itself is much further up the paddock, kinda hidden among trees.
Hee, your suburbia is much different from ours. There's maybe 4 meters between my house and the next. We're squished right up on top of each other.
they recognise me as the bringer of carrots and occasionally juicy green grass (which I rip from the backyard when my dad isn't looking) and they come down whenever I pop my head up at the fence.
That's so cool. You've like trained them yourself. Yay, horses.

Mine was more of a "what if my parachute doesn't open?!?!" thing.

Oh, the aforementioned house isn't part of my suburb. In my suburb the houses are right next to each other, but they're spaced out quite nicely and everyone has decent-sized backyards. Unless they are silly and build a huge house on a small block of land. But we were lucky to get the block of land we did. It's a good size.

Yay! They're my partners in crime. Muahaha.
...I am not sure where that came from.

Eeek, that one too. But even if your parachute did open, but you landed on top of the Empire State Building (which is tall and pointy), it would hurt.

My backyard is nice and rather big. Which was good when I was younger and went outside

Yay, crime!horses. And does anyone ever know where things come from?

Lol! I imagine it would. But the places I am looking at for skydiving do it over paddocks and things out in the country, so it's more of a *splat on rocks* thing.
And does anyone ever know where things come from?
Ahh, true. Things would be terribly boring if we all thought things through before saying them.

I imagine they all must. Otherwise it would be bad.
