My AP scores made me cry.
Because I was expecting to get 2s in both. And got a 4 in U.S. History and a 5 in psych.
But I refused to open the envelope, saying that I'd open it when I needed to send it to somebody and not a minute before. So my dad grabbed it and opened it. And looked at it. And asked me "What do these 1s mean? Because it says here, Psychology -- 1, and U.S. History -- 1."
And I was like "That means I failed." And I was okay with that. Because I had been telling myself the whole time that I was going to get a two in both. (I do that a lot. Tell myself I'm going to fail, so if I actually fail, it's what I was expecting, and if I don't, it's a pleasant surprise.)
And then he hands me the paper. And I screamed. And then started crying.
That's my story.
