Slashy teachers

Oh, and my english teacher? I think I like her more now. We were going through the Mythology book, and she got to some Apollo one, and goes "This one's interesting, if you like... boy-love."  She said it, somehow, that made me think 'OMG, she's a slasher.  Or at least knows what slash is/that it exists.'  But I fuckingswear she looked right at me.
Katie and I were talking, she's like "Mrs. Martin looks at you, you're like 'Hello, my name is Alexandria, I'll be your slash guide today.'"
I wonder if she's got like slashdar.  That would be frakkingsweet! 
Or if she's in one of my LJ or Yahoo groups.  Or has read my fics.  Okay, happy feeling gone.  Now just weirded.
But if she's read my fics, you'd think she'd give me a better grade.

I totally told my freshman english teacher the first day of school that I was going to be writing about alternative couples and she was like "Okay whatever, go for it." It was awesome.
