From an AP story linked to off of Yahoo.

"Obama's total includes more than a majority of the delegates picked in the 56 primaries and caucuses on the calendar, a group that excludes nearly 800 superdelegates, the party leaders who hold the balance of power at the convention."

Umm, sorry, but I'm unclear on one bit. How do you have more than a majority? Isn't a majority a majority whether it's 51-49 or 99-1? LOLZ, news stories.

I... think they're trying to imply that he has an overwhelmingly large amount, in the same way one might say "More than a few" or "More than half".

Their choice of words does leave something to be desired, though XD
