Summer is coming in for us, and I actually like the smell of summer too.
Really? I've never thought about summer having a specific smell. In Missouri, you've got barbeques and stuff, and chlorine from swimming pools, and nasty muggy heat. I tend to stay inside in the summers, because it's so humid and nasty. (I tend to stay inside all the time when the sun's out, but that's just me.)
Once the sun goes down it's good. And summer makes for some AWESOME thunderstorms.
Oh yes. We had some really good/nasty ones this summer, twice within 2 weeks with major parts of the city without power. Something like 3/4 of the city had no power on the first one, and not all of it had gotten turned back on when some of it went out again. So not great with the things melting (though neither time did my power go out, which was good), but when the storm was happening, it was pretty cool. And heat is nasty indeed. Summer nights when it's cool and the sky is clear and you can see the stars, those are nice too.
Lol, I just realised I've taken your winter comment and turned it into a little nostalgic summer story.
Ehh, run with it. I love stories.

Ooh, gracias. I've actually got like 10 more pages of spanish work to do tonight, but yeah. Putting that off. Because I don't feel like doing it until after I eat, and my food wasn't all the way cooked, so I'm waiting.

I dunno. I think so. I mean, I sort of just made them up, though other people probably made them up and started using them around the same time. I use them a lot, though, and I'm noticing a proliferation of "Yay!"s and other types of my messed up speech, particularly around my friends list and fandoms. So I think maybe I am behind it. I hope so. That would make me happy.
